Yes, please more George Michael live, he was so fantastic live, with the absolutely perfect, wonderful background singers. This concert was amazing, so pure and perfect, see more of it. For me, George is, along with Steve Perry and Steve Lee from Gotthard, one of the best singers that ever was, is and will be.
Happy Birthday George❤
Watch him singing that song at the EMA awards, its incredible
One of my favorites also. This entire concert is stellar. I prefer his live performances over his studio recordings.
Just in time for his birthday, which was yesterday 6/25! Thank you, Pat, for keeping George's magic in people's ears ❤
Love his performance love this song!!!
The concert was 1996 and this song is one of my favorits.
I am thrilled you’re back and reacting to the incomparable and my absolute favorite George Michael. Yay
Hey Pat, How's that for a little funky? This is one of my very favorite songs. It's not one that you can get funky on the floor but the message! This rings so true for how I'm feeling today & for the last 7+ years. I'm from the USA so you know what I mean. Enough of that! Anyhow, George sang in so many Charity concerts. Could you check it out? He also was a very philanthropic man & urged people to look outside themselves & give to help others. Over the years I've seen him give away a lot of money. But no one knew just how charitable he truly was. Pat, you need to learn more about the man behind his magnificent music & voice. The music he wrote was al lot about who he is & what he went through just like a lot of us, no matter what It was. Fast slow It didn't matter. By the way, where the **** have you been? I keep waiting for you to do more of our George. Believe It or not, you've only scratched the surface, my friend! Great to see you back. Don't be away so long next time, OK! Here are a couple of suggestions for you: Poverotti & friends (charity concert in Italy. Brouther can you spar a dime. This is a stunner! And, Fantasy but the one Live in London. George gets down with his backup singers. Parties on! This was always George in concert! I lied, one more: Same concert, The First time ever I saw your face. Be prepared to hold your breath when hearing his perfect, beautiful voice on this one (any of his beautiful Balaids) Anyhow, great to see you, & remember George & let the music play! LOL BK 🕯😇🥰💖
He’s the best for me! 🥰 What a deep meaning, what a visionnary, almost 30 years later and these lyrics are like gloves for so many people, it is what our reality became. What a show, what a production. The crew worked with George for decades and they always seen to have their best time! Thanks for the marvelous reaction!
A true master !!!! Listen to spinning the wheels and his falsetto!!!!
That IS George Michael 💜💜💜
That song is one of my favourites from that album and it deserves to be much better known. So much groove, such clever lyrics, so relevant to society, such musicality.
Such a classic.
How wonderful to see you posting again. I really love your love for great music and honest enthusiastic reviews.
What a legend.
Patrick, have you ever heard 'A Different Corner' by George Michael (Wham!)?? Totally my all-time favorite George Michael ballad EVER!!!
Pat, if I can suggest since it is pride month to reach to, My Mother Had a Brother sung live at his 25 live world tour. It’s very fitting for pride month. You will understand once you hear the lyrics.
You should really check out George Michael and Aretha Franklin " I knew you were waiting for me ". And also George Micheal and Elton John LIVE singing " Don't let the sun go down on me ". Both are Classic's !!!!!!!
Check out George Michael and Mary J Blige
You say almost like he's rappin', you should listen to Wham's first 2 singles, wham rap and young Guns he is rappin' on those songs.
