SWEET & LYNCH is the musical pairing of Stryper’s Michael Sweet and George Lynch of Lynch Mob and Dokken fame. On their third and newest release, ‘Heart & Sacrifice’, the duo is joined by Jelly Cardarelli (Lalu) on drums and Alessandro Del Vecchio, who, in addition to bass duties, helped with production.
I sat down with the legendary guitar virtuoso to discuss the new album, Rock Operas, Brian May, building custom guitars and much more!

I’ve met George twice .. Both were guitar clinics. What a legend .. He has a dry sense of humor .. Very professional nice guy.. one of my top 5.. Ive met Michael too ,,, another super great guy to talk too and highly in my top 5 as well

Wow, what a great interview. George to me is the Jeff Beck of today. He plays the comfortable stuff and then he goes off into left field pulls off something something unique, interesting and new. He's really still my guitar hero. Id love to meet him someday!

Arguably the best guitarist of the 80’s, collaborating with one of my favourite singers…who coincidentally can currently sing better than everyone in that genre. TRULY a legendary matchup

Eh, when George auditioned for Ozzy a second time, George enlisted the help of Warren to help deciphering Randy Rhoads guitarwork. George still did not get the job and it went to Jake E. Lee.
