I'm so glad I found this video here! I have one of the original VHS tapes of this from the Brewery which I rescued when it closed. Mum used to be the Tours Organiser. It's great that it is preserved online! ❤

Visited the Brewery Tap next door in 2005 when I heard it was due to be taken over and drank Festival Mild and HSB on draft. Two finer pints you could not find. Afterwards we went over the road to the off sales and they happened to have a case of Prize Old Ale that a publican had failed to pick up. It is still in my cellar. I think it was from the last batch brewed in Horndean.

I am in search of a beer that tastes like HSB. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks! We made it in 1997 for Gales 150th anniversary. Now the brewery has been converted into flats!

Was the beer flat? If so, that's why the flats now exist.
