May the Spirits of Mountaineer (1863-1879) and Little Giant (1867-1929) live on. And as Welsh Pony Returned to steam in 2020, We wish them Dry rails and smooth running.

There should be loop connect junctions with this line, the Talyllyn and the Corris railways, too.

Well that won't work. The Ffestiniog railway has a gauge of 1 ft 11 5/8 in but the others run on 2 ft 3 in gauge.

@@jonistan9268 I mean, just with one railway just end at the station with buffers, and same for the other. And extended loop lines to ride around back the other direction each.

Lovely. Should have featured Palmerston when he was still used as a static boiler at Boston Lodge. Should have some somewhere at my parents place from early 70's. Some early pictures that I have not seen before. What has happened to Welsh Pony. Nothing heard since she was dismantled. Saw the boiler and Firebox being reassembled and the new frames in production now nothing heard for two years. Meanwhile why is attention diverted to that Chinese thing and The Alco lies derelict and forgotten when she was a prestige engine and so evocative of WW1?

Regarding Welsh Pony, as far as I'm aware, she is under restoration. I only made this video to showcase this class of George England narrow-gauge tank and tender engines; so I don't know what's going on at Boston Lodge Works - they have their own KZread channel but it has being quite quiet regarding Welsh Pony. I am going to visit the Great Little Trains Of Wales for my summer holiday this year; last time I was in North Wales was six years ago in 2013.

toby harlin princess will remain as a static decoration as too much original material has to be lost to recreate a safe running modern loco. I think that is the right decision as there are now four and a “replica” of the 1852 original version of mountaineer
