This is hands down one of the best Drink Champs 🏆 interviews. It's so much music history packed in George Clinton. It’s no secret that Uncle George was on crack for a long time (I heard him say it out of his own mouth). For him to be this sharp, clear, coherent and looking this good at the age of 81 is unbelievable and should not be scientifically possible. Fantastic interview....1973....Mothership Connection...changed this 17 yr old life. At 66 yrs old I still have P Funk Starchild (you CANNOT play one without the other)....Give Up The Funk ....the way Bernie Worrell took over that song at the end...the best, simply the best. Just recently heard the 1993 remix "One Nation...." with Ice Cube...now I can't ride without it. God bless this man....
One of the dopest in the Game! Unique and Talented! I never forget getting in trouble in the 9th grade with my cheerleading coach because I was on the ground in my homecoming dress doing the Dog Catcher on the floor with my date! Good times! Thank You George Clinton for your contributions to music!
I am a Generation X human being and I am crying in Elation at the fact that drink Champs has grown so beyond what they intended because this is a history lesson I'm not just hip-hop but a history lesson of how Black Culture whether it's music Art Theater literature what have you build on each other and for that matter all cultures do that but we just go talk about the Heavenly melanated skin tone people. I so much appreciate this podcast even more. I pray that this particular episode gets in the millions people see George Clinton and not connecting the dots but they need to hear this and see this because this is a part of the foundation of Hip Hop. Maybe the last poets Ameer Baraka or somebody neck jonomer you can see and hear from them maybe who knows but this brother King Baba George Clinton is on the mark and we're so glad that you got him to do drink Champs kudos
