If it was black government area we would hear them talking about 30% pass rate as the cause. The children of the construction company , their spouse and the school they attend will be all over the place. People would be harassed because of their parents mistakes

Buildings don't collapse like this on itself. Something was structurally wrong.

All I can see from the pics is a lot of loose bricks and powdered mortar. Someone skimped on cement.

This should never have happened.Have they been taking short cuts in the building??First time I,have ever heard of this happening,should never happen again.!!!

Owner of the construction company, civil engineer and architects, Geologist must be named so that the country see the qualifications and who is who. Because if it was anywhere in the country DA would demand that individual be exposed

Just glad I am not the architect, engineer and contracted building company. And buildings have collapsed in KZN, the cANCer wasn't blamed. Poor workmanship, cutting corners etc. Is the reason here.

The building was near completion .What if this building collapsed after it was already occupied. Scary to see how the standards of safety and workmanship has dropped to such an unacceptable low level , like every thing else that has deteriorated under the powers that be ... safety and properly qualified builders and engineers should not be one of the areas to compromise on properly qualified workers and workmanship and safety. THERE ARE STRICT RULES AND LAWS THAT REGULATES THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY..... How did this happen.
