So it's not a geo polymer? Why keep calling it that?

because it is of geological origin, has probably a polymeric structure (NMR analysis) and even has the density of normal polymers, which plastics are called, which is not the correct naming. I dont know this particular material very well bur what I wrote counts for most geopolymers.
