@@carelessblackhoodie5011 Yes, very well. I mastered the geometry course on Khan academy. Currently I am about halfway through algebra 2 and going strong. In school though I am only in geometry right now, so it's funny knowing everything my teacher is teaching us 🙃

I used to love taking geometry in high school (54 years ago). It was like solving puzzles.

Ah yes, the nice easy first question in the exam to settle you in and get you all comfy, ready for the hard questions.

You could also follow the theorem that says: 'The external angle of a corner or a triangle that is created with the expansion of one of its sides, is equal to the sum of the two angles other than the one on that corner. In other words 85° = x + 180° - 125° x = 85° + 125° - 180° x = 30°

You can also apply the Exterior Angles Theorem, which states that an exterior angle is equal to the sum of the nonadjacent angles of a triangle. Applying the Linear Pair Postulate 85° + x = 180, x= 95. Then applying the Exterior Angles Theorem, 125° = x + 95°, x = 30°.

Tip if you dont know geometry angles, yet the interior angles in a triangle always add up to 180 no matter what meaning. If you get 2 sides, you can figure out the other angle by subtracting the sum of the two angles by 180, but the interior angles are also 180 if its any shape with three sides aswell heres a formula to find the sum of the interior in any shape. Number of sides-1 x 90, examples i make a triangle has three sides so 3-1=2 then 2x90=180😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Exterior angle will be equal to x + 55 . Just substract 55 from 85

It's easy 127+×=180 So we do 180 -127 Then you do 180 -85 and you get both of the angles then With the formula a+b+c=180 We know a and b and then it's simple stuff Learned this in 6th grade

Yes we can use exterior angle property,but the only problem is that we haven't given a single interior angle.So,we have to find one interior angle and then use exterior angle property and that's is bit lengthy and slightly difficult then the method shown in the video.😊

I did it way different (and quicker)… 85°-55°=30° … imagine a horizontal (parallel) line at the apex of the triangle. Knowing that the alternate angle between parallel lines is equal, and the supplementary angle to 125° is 55° … the alternate angle to 85° must equal X+55° … X = 85°-55° = 30°

Could also add the outside angle (125+85=210), and then just substract the some of the inside angle (180) 210-180=30

For me i'd draw a parallel line. After that, it's 125 - 95 or 85 - 55, the result is always 30. Ez question finish in 5 sec.
