It's used in Civil Engineering and construction to plan out various maps and charts. Which they inturn are used in real life also.. also it develops the knowledge of how to use each instrument. It's not much to do with bisectors as such. It's mainly about using geometrical instruments and upskilling for further mechanical related work as well. Also it helps in other polygons construction, where we find ortho center and other centers of polygons....
