Can we talk about how there was straight up a dude wearing a Badgers hat in the picture and he didn’t immediately guess Wisconsin
I feel like one of the viewers could whip up a basic script to do this with. Id suggest to whomever does it to design it to do all animals from the get go, categorizing with iNaturalists bird/mammal/reptile/fish/plant etc. This would be a fun panel game with multiple experts

Should also do it with plants and fungi.
For future reference, if you're able to catch red dirt in any of the pictures, you'll have a better guess with Oklahoma! A good part of the state contains reddish dirt, so if you see a pond with a red-ish brown tint or well... dirt... Oklahoma should be a relatively close guess.

I mean, it's still a guess either way. I know it's not that unique. It's still helpful in getting rid of a good amount of other guesses. It definitely wouldn't be on any part of the east coast.
"What if I could do that... but with fish?" AVNJ secret video formula revealed
13:15 I have never felt so validated as a Wisconsin fisherman, I guessed this one correctly. I’ve caught 4/5 of those. You see plenty of signs with drum on them that distinguish between native and invasive species. Gotta know what to release and what to “dispose of”.

“Midwest” guesses Arkansas which is not in the Midwest 😂 then the WISCONSIN ONE MAN, I was yelling Wisconsin as soon as the first image came up, the dude was wearing a University of Wisconsin hat
How to make it God mode : "haha, look at these crazy fishies, you will know where i'm from" and then a pic of you holding a european carp (which by now is all around the world) Let them guess, Oregon, France, Brazil, Austria ? Who knows 🤣

The little "baby carp" you saw at the start were actually prusian carp, young prussian carp. They are literaly the ancestors of the goldfish.

The Wisconsin one was easy because the guy in the first picture had a Wisconsin hat on 😂
A very innovative and cool video idea! Keep it up!
I KNEW THW IDAHO ONE!!! Also by the way the common trout you mentioned I believe was a bull trout (it’s 1am so I might wrong) and bull trout are only native to a few states including Idaho.

I hate to brake it to you but that trout had the exact spots of a brook trout
@xiphactinusyt4739
Жыл бұрын
@@-GloryGloryToOlGeorgia looking back at it, it is mostly likely a brook trout but identification is not reliable through the spots on the side of the fish. As they both have a mix of white, red and orange spots. A couple differences are bull trout have no marking on the dorsal fin, enlarged pectoral fins and brook trout have a pattern of curving lines on the top of the head. Although brook trout tend to have coloured spots below the lateral line, whereas bull trout tend to have coloured spots above the lateral line, this can vary from individual to individual due to various factor.

As a person who lives in Wisconsin, I love the way you say wisconsin.
11:40 i saw the yellow hills in tge background (the sand structure) and immediately know it was gonna be the eastern washington area, and i was barely incorrect, the part of idaho thats basically part of washington
I wish I had been in chat during this to tell him that in the first Wisconsin picture the guy was literally wearing a Wisconsin Badgers hat lol
I thought the last one was Michigan or somewhere near lol. Just because I live there and people holding fish up by the gills seems perfectly normal. The fish weren’t familiar though😂

The one for Wisconsin was easy. Dude holding the fish had a Wisconsin hat on.
12:07 bro literally had a Wisconsin hat on
Reasonably certain that last catfish was a white catfish. Blues have more of a forked tail.
I'm an eastern person. Saw the first one. Thought it was Maryland, due to the one pond that Maryland pulled a huge bass out of, being full of koi, tiny little tetras and things of that like, sunfish, and a ton of bluegill. It apparently checked out.
11:00 bro calling a bull trout very common
Love this style of the vid. Was guessing reight along with you!
I can't believe I guessed the (first) Wisconsin one correctly! You should have this set up so we can play it. You could even expand from fish and have it do all observations to test out ecological knowledge of everything.
Fun game. Looking forward to more of it

"that's mine!" That was awesome lol
The Iowa/Wisconsin one was funny to me because my friend was the one who caught that drum and his family is basically the entire population of Guttenberg just north of there
💀💀💀 the first one is a fucking 25¢ goldfish someone got from Petco and irresponsibly released… that could be ANYWHERE💀
Saw the bride, knew it was Maryland instantly
