Naah Turkish and Finnish are not related even tho there has been some claims made during the years, but yes i admit it does sometimes sound similar in some ways. People from Fenno-Ugric language family, which includes Finland, Hungary, Estonia and to lesser extent Latvia and Lithuania (the last two are ethnically related, but linguistically much more influenced by Polish and other Slavic languages), came west from somewhere in central Russia thousands of years ago. Probably somewhere in modern Latvia they split to north and south. The people heading north ended up in Baltic countries and Finland. The ones going south set up in Hungary. Later the Huns set up in Hungary, giving it it's name, and changed the ethnicity and language quite a bit. Slavic countries contributed quite a bit too. Today, there's little to no similarities between Finnish and Hungarian language. I guess the biggest similarity is that they are considered two of the most difficult European languages for other Europeans to learn.
