Sigh.... Today I learned to put text at the TOP of a shorts video.... Sorry folks 🤦♀️
His progress is amazing. Just keeps getting better and better... that sub in drunken sailor is just mind blowing!
Hes voice is amazing and even tho i dont use earphones i can hear and feel him in my bones and hes voice is getting better as he gets older
Lol I love this! It really does show the progression from where he started to where he is now, and clearly he is only going lower. 🙃
I fully expect Geoff to hit -1 in the scale someday. He's spoiled me for all other bass singers.

If geoff learns ingressive the world will be destroyed
Thanks, Huldra! This was terrific seeing the progress of Geoff’s subs all gathered together!
Oh, this is a really interesting video. Thanks for making this, Huldra. Amazing to see his development.
This is a great summary of Geoff‘s Subharmonic journey! You could’ve maybe included the F#2 to F#1 descent from Kidnap the Sandy claws as that’s also a very special moment from him 😁 But then again, there are a ton of amazing Subharmonic lines from him so it’s really hard to choose just a few…
I’ve always loved bass singers, but Geoff is in my top 3 ( after JD Sumner and Richard Sturben). Even in the subharmonics, his voice has a warmth to it that I don’t hear in Tim Faust or Avi Kaplan. It just draws you in.

What clip do you feel is missing?
Since the sub line "earlay in the morning" I hope so hard for an only by subhamonics song song from his own channel. 💥❤️🔥🔥 And I don't wanna hear 1 single note which is not subharmonic ☝️😂

as fun as that might sound, I don't think that would sound very good at all, lol

@@huldradraco I'm sure I would adore it! 😂😂👍🏽 But maybe that's because I'm a Death Metal fan, where singers growl the whole album 🤘

I know this is an older comment, but check out Dan Mirabal. A lot of his stuff has subharmonics throughout.
you forgot the F1 chest from “Whiskey in a jar”

I didn't forget. This was about his subharmonics, not his chest voice 🙂

man, too bad you didn't include Oogie Boogie. in the words of David Larson, it's basically the first commercially (largely) successful video with subharmonics

Very true, but it was also "just" a note that he had hit several times before. the wow factor was the descent from high belt to ending on a low note, not a development of his subharmonics.
What was his first subharmonic ?

On a good day, maybe he can hit A0 sub

In growl he can, but as far as I'm aware, it takes him working for hours to get to a decent sounding B0

It's a collab they did with Kurt Hugo Schneider, and it's only on his channel. It's a Twenty One Pilots mashup. Also, they did Waving Through A Window with Kurt, again only on his channel.

@@katthor7311I finally found those two songs a few months ago after seeing either Mortius or DJ doing a reaction to them. So sad I hadn't seen them before. Eli was amazing in Waving Through a Window.

@@rhov-anion I found those the same way via reactors. I love Eli's rendition of Waving. DJ_410 did a reaction to a live version of it which is also so good.

Eli's Waving Through A Window is one of my absolute favorites of VP. the arrangement isn't anything special, but Eli's voice and performance in that song is just so amazing. 🥰🥰🥰
