Genuine Buddy Daytime Running Lights

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I show you how to create your own wiring harness to convert those dead lights into daytime running lights. The process is very easy and you don't need that many tools to complete this DIY. You can also use t-connectors and butt connectors and avoid buying the kit, there are so many ways to do this. Here below I will leave a link to the LED light bulbs and the connectors that I used. If you like the video, or have any questions leave them in the comments. Where are you guys from, and where are you guys riding at? Leave it in the comments. Watch the whole video for a surprise/gift if you follow the directions. Cheers guys!! Aloha y'all!!

Items I used:
LED lights: Do a search for "LED Light bulbs 1156" on amazon or ebay.
Connectors Kit: www.amazon.com/dp/B07DB7X9R9?...
If the link above doesn't work do a search on amazon for "Glarks 580Pcs 2.8mm Pitch 2 3 4 6 9 Pin Wire Connectors Housing Terminal"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will pick a winner if you like, subscribe, and leave a comment with a cool/geeky name for my Buddy. The winner will get a wire harness ready to plug and play. Cheers everyone!! Enjoy and safe scootering out there!!

The problem I ran into with my Buddy 50 is the USB power is always live even with no key. I have seen someone who ran it off the ignition power on a Buddy 150. I think I will still splice into the USB power still but install a switch for the lights. Will update for the Buddy 50 when completed.

Thank you so much for doing this video! It takes a lot of time and effort to do this and you did it because you are just a beautiful person! People like you are wonderful! The video explains things very easily and it makes it so helpful for people who get overwhelmed with working on their scoot. As for a name for your baby, I thought of a couple… Black Widow Natasha Speed Mahalo! Aloha Colleen

Anybody get this to work on a buddy 50 yet? Asking cause I put a led headlight in and had to get a anti flicker harness something about a 2 stroke that causes LEDs to flicker. Guess I might be the one to try and report lol

I wired this exactly the same way. But the lights are on as soon as the plugs are all connected. It seems that the power wire which goes to the USB is giving power even when the key is off. What am I doing wrong?

Let you know when I get the parts. It should work with the wiring but not sure if it will have a flicker issues. If it does some extra wiring will be needed. 2 strokes have a issue with headlight LEDs flickering know that from a recent upgrade.
