Why didn't I think of this! A canopy to protect your generator from inclement weather.

The real test is to put it outside during a storm and see if it really keeps the water away from the electronics...

A generator is a safety item in my house. You can't put a price on safety. You might think it's expensive? It's peace of mind for me. Consider it an insurance policy you hope you never need?

That’s expensive? I had a custom built 306 stainless steel enclosure made for mine. It has a ground & a hinged lid. It is vented on two sides. I only would have one generator in mine. A Honda EU7000is. My enclosure cost me $2700 with a concrete pad. It has a hasp on it for my Granite 5/8” shackle lock. Anyone foolish enough to try to defeat my generator will have to deal with me. I’m 6’8” tall & 290 pounds. I use 2 cans of wasp stopper which is neurotoxin. I spray it into your mouth & face. Unless you have poison control on speed dial? You’ll likely die.

The tent is aimed at weather prevention, not thieves. As for thieves, the shackle lock is a great deterent...they'll get caught before cutting the lock off.

@@aholmes6612 If you research the shackle on that Abus Granite lock? It's made of hardened steel. It's a physically intimidating lock by Abus of its size & weight. It weighs 2 pounds. It's guarded on the side facing the thief. The lock picking lawyer said it's pick resistant. He was able to defeat it with the right tools. I'm going to venture most people don't have those tools or knowledge to open the lock without drawing my attention? Then they'll need a face shield to deflect the poison directed at their face. Eyes, ears, nose & mouth are all entry points for poison. Then there is the physical size of a giant coming at them. Whenever I move people stare. Imagine someone moving at them shooting poison & then crushing their head in after the cans are empty. Personally? There are softer targets than mine.
