There are 3 Archon Quests, which I think are my favorite: 1) Archon Quest Fontaine Final Arc, when the Focalors sacrifice themselves to save Fontaine from Celestia's punishment before Fontaine is drowned by a flood at Celestia's will. 😢 2) Archon Quest Interlude: Caribert, When we as Travelers were left alone by Paimon & Dainsleif, when we helped a father who was trying to save his son who was now cursed to become a Hilichurl. 😢 3) Archon Quest Interlude: The Bedtime Story, when we meet our twins again. 😭

Even tough the games timeline is 6 months and before the main game the manga takes place 3 years before the game and main character is Amber

I don't play om the EN dub but from what I've hear lately is that they actually toned down her voice on the last updates so she sounds more like she did at the beggining

@@mandyred1 if im not mistaken, that actually might be because she is growing as a person, so her tone is kinda starting to shift from a kid, to a more adult like voice, u could really notice it in arles quest, where her voice was much more grown up ish

I think her old voice was pretty generic. It sounded very “VA is trying too hard to sound like a fairy” imo. I much prefer her snarky gremlin persona because it makes her a more interesting and dynamic character, and I don’t think the old, sweet voice would work with that. I do agree that she can be too shrill in certain lines, but that’s kind of on the one directing for accepting those takes. I also think that the amount of lines she gets influences how annoying or not she is. I see people going ballistic when Paimon is doing a lot of explaining and talking for the traveler, but when she only occasionally cuts in with some silly dialogue, like the new Clorinde quest, nobody really has an issue with it.

I have to admit, early game, I was more focued on leveling up, exploring and unlocking everything, and I kinda skipped most of the story. Only in Sumeru, I really started paying close attention to the quests. Now I need to know, is it only because I really paid attention in Fontaine, or is that scene of Focalors' final dance just one of the best things Genshin has created this far. It gives me chills every time I see it. It's so good.

Thanks for your effort. The problem with such a story intense yet long running game is, that you really lose track of the story/characters/events. These videos you make are a GODSEND. When I started Genshin, i was dating my actual wife and I have one kid now. Yet, we're like 2/3 years from seeing Genshin epilogue. Thanks for this video, also the in-depth lore and event analysis video you make are excellent! Thanks!

Teared up AGAIN when i watched the focalors cutscene. After Bedtime Story, it really hits how far we've come cuz wdym we're more than half-way done. Every time I do an Archon Quest, I'm like "how will hoyo peak THIS ??? there's no way" and they ALWAYS DO so I'm insanely excited for how Natlan's gonna turn out. I might get a genshin burnout every few weeks but I don't see myself ever quitting this beautiful game. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make this nostalgic compilation, and take care !!!!

Ikr. I don't get the insistence that this quest happens before Inazuma just because Inazuma's AQ isn't required for it. The reason is simply because you don't need the context of that AQ (or of Dain's AQ) for the Jade Chamber interlude, so it'd be pointless to force you to play through it first. 100% sure this interlude happened AFTER the Traveler returned from Inazuma but before the Chasm. The Traveler wouldn't wait for months to go from Liyue to Inazuma (and much less wait for months doing nothing to receive the tip from Katherine that led him to Dain and to meeting his sibling). By all means, we learn from Ning's hangout that happens during the time frame of the reconstruction of the Jade Chamber that she spent a very long time getting all her stuff back from the water, and also collecting all the resources necessary to rebuild it. That floating rock Shenhe grabs for us was an extremely rare material that Ning also took a while to source another of. No way the Traveler just stayed in Liyue idling all this time when they hadn't even met their sibling (and were desperate to find them) according to how this video seems to portray.

Unfortunately, the AR requirements for "The Crane Returns on the Wind" is 28, same as "A New Star Approaches." So, for a new player, they will immediately unlock this quest after Liyue's archon quests despite it taking place months later. For them it would be like immediately fixing the Jade Chamber after rite of parting.

Out of all the cutscenes in the game so far, the most heart wrenching to me are: a) We Will Be Reunited b) Nahida deleting Rukkhadevata c) Focalors' final dance d) Bedtime story

30:51 I'm pretty sure it was actually months and not days, this is implied by Ningguang's line at 31:48, Beisht had no motive to attack the jade chamber up until Osial was destroyed so it's incredibly odd for her to attack for no reason. It makes sense for this part of the story to occur after the inazuma arc due to issues with the pacing otherwise + wouldn't Ningguang be focused on rebuilding and defending Liyue harbour right after that attack instead of rebuilding her jade chamber?

Great recap, only one complaint. All the ads were put right in the middle of important cutscenes. I don't mind ads in general, but please don't do that as it definitely ruined my immersion in this video.

I stopped playing this game a while ago, about 10 months ago because the main story is extremely good but the side quests are redundant, repetitive and very long. Thanks for allowing us to catch up with those of us who have stopped playing :)
