I think that's intentional tho. Qiqi always seems to be out of place and weird, but with good intentions regardless, so her theme kinda reflects this with the whole out-of-place beat but still upbeat and cheery tone.

@Sherry Nguyen well the talismans are suppose to represent luck (I think?) And Qiqi is a Jiangshi (Japanese zombie), who have talisman on their heads (and other places to. See her leg.). Also not to mention her elemental skill has fortune or luck in her name. I'm not really sure about the "preserver" part but that's what I can make of the fortune.

Why is Klee's theme so happy, and yet we all know what she's doing.

it's the fact that she enjoys what she is doing without having any conscious awareness of her actions. Such actions are child-like and conveys the happiness from childhood, where the immature mind knows little of anything except fun, joy, laughter, and play. She literally destroyed a whole border to mondstadt If you go to Varka/Jean's office you'll see a map of mondstadt. In the game map, there is a opening between two cliffs at the top left. In the map there's a cliff there instead. There was probably land all over near cider lake but destroying that border, that raised the water level.

I love Childe’s theme. It starts out so sweet and soft, like Childe’s playful, family oriented side. Then gets fast paced and grand like his fiery battle side, then goes soft again. Maybe I just love Childe too much lol. Edit: I never expected to get this many likes but I see I have attracted the Childe simps.

The fact that he has two very different sides makes him a much more interesting character. I think that’s one of the main reasons I love him and he’s my favorite character.

I'm in love with how you get a feel of what a character's personality is like from every song. Like Ganyu's gentle nature, Childe's fiery spirit for war, Klee's playful and mischievous energy, as well as Zhongli's traditional and powerful rhythm. You could also hear a few seconds of Klee's theme at the end of Albedo's theme, likely referring to the close sister-brother bond they share, it's adorable

I completely agree. Fischls has a hint of eccentrity to the German culture, while keeping the electric energy and style of genshin. Xiao's, even though not here, has a traditional powerful feel, like zhonglis, but more intense, like how he's constantly guarding, while zhonglis is a bit more subtle, because he is keeping a watchful eye but only as a bystander.

So, i know that i'm too late for setting that comment, but there is a fun fact about Albedo and the name of the second soundtrack "Genius of Takwin": actually, takwin is a word in arabic that means "creation", the fact that the great alchemist is a man who masters the art of giving life to his painting, he is a prince that can create everything that he shapes: in my opinion, it's good to have a second nickname instead of the stylish Kriedprinz. That was just an info that i wanted to share with the community.

Now it's tradition every one ends with an Archon. Volume 2 ended with the Electro Archon(Raiden Shogun) and Volume 3 ended with the Dendro Archon(Nahida). Volume 4 will be the same with the Hydro Archon.

Out of topic, but i think the album is named "Stellar Moments" because, playable characters have constellations. Constellations are a part of the stellar sky, so i guess that's why. And i also think the stars and sky are gonna play a major role in this game.

It's amazing how the sound designers tied in the character's personalities into their themes. Klee's is playful, Diona's sounds like a cat, Fischl has a bavarian element, Xinyan (of course) is heavy on the electric guitar, etc. Massive props to them; they did an amazing job.

Alice isnt Albedo’s mom, and the “aunt” title he uses doesn’t actually detonate family in Chinese, it’s more of title to show respect (i hope I explained this ok lol). Albedos character stories and voice lines state he sees klee as a little sister

Bards adventure sends a shiver down my spine (at the beginning) because its a mix of the wind and the star traveler and its own self, but Qullins prance and rex incognito slaps. I love the stellar moments because the soundtracks always sound awesome

Most of the character trailers BGMs are a remix of a certain track of Genshin OST (I forgot which one). So yeah, that's why they have same melodies. I personally likes it, because it shows their personality more that way. Like, we know how the track goes as a whole, generally, so when each of those has personal touch with it, it will sounds more contrast. But that's just me.

for me albedo say "the moment of birth!" moment

I think my personal selection is Bard’s Adventure, Ouvertüre der ewigen Nacht, Quick as Lightning, and Qilin’s Prance, although I’d have to say my favorite is probably Contemplation in Snow. Maybe that’s just because it’s so different from all the others - while several definitely make use of electronic instruments/synths, Albedo’s theme is the only one made up almost entirely of... oh, god DAMMIT. Listening to it again with that in mind, there’s actually some distorted whispering voices at the very beginning, which could easily be representative of Durin’s corruption, and the acoustic instruments come out the most during the quiet part, during his quiet musings on the nature of humanity and the world. I can’t even with this game sometimes.

Venti themes just conveys so munch freedom and I just don’t how the composer did that. Either way I love the theme so much.
