genshin is overflowing with deep and tragic characters, we need more characters like itto. no thoughts, head empty, just himboes his way through life, patting a beetle with one hand and writing to miss hina with another edit: yeah, he does have a pretty sad background, but i meant it in a way that he doesn't make his traumas and bad experiences his whole personality. itto grew out of his past, now it's just a part of his character, he has plenty of things to show and tell you about apart from it. and while i'm here at it, i'll just say that personally to me, considering all i said, itto feels like a more interesting and complex character than those characters who want us to feel like they're complex but they're really not (won't point fingers though)

@@Raudent Seriously, 3d is obviously harder. Sure there's reusing animations, but they gave itto new animations like the crying one and the slouching over which each animation takes MUCH longer than a 2d one

@@No-uc1xs actually no, the hardest part in 3D animation is the process of modeling, texturing, and rigging, after you go past that, animating these models are just like moving mannequins around. 2D bypasses the early process, but then you have to draw the movements each frame, with higher frames translating to more effort, that's only a movement, there's still sketch cleanup, coloring, and shading that needs to be done each frame. They ain't hard, but they're extremely tedious Even with new animations, 3D it's still easier for this case. Unless you're comparing a low fps 2D animation with it

@@Raudent I agree, but I think the biggest problem about implementing more special 3d animations into the game is the game file size expansion. Doing that for every character for every event will probably add up to another 10+ gigs

İtto is kinda inspirational. He has fun, does what he wants with no self control but he also aids others every chance he gets whether they like it or not. And when the chips are down and he has to protect those he loves he is the most reliable person in all of teyvat. Hell he was willing to give his life for the others without hesitation while in the chasm.
