Not that this makes him happy. You can see him answering his own question in the trailer: confronted with a gamble, he immediately raises the stakes to include his own life, because that's the only thing he's sure his luck will protect.

The Boothill thing is not just a translation, it's basically conforming that Boothill ACTUALLY swears but cant because someone messed up with his universal translator (Synesthsia Beacon).

Fun fact: what Acheron can do in the trailer is technically lore accurate, she is the most powerful character in lore that we can play.

About the april fools trailer, the yellow doll is a Homu a mascot from Honkai universe and apear in games like GGZ and Honkai Impact 3rd, Pom-pom is figthing a Homu but theres one boss in Honkai Impact 3rd, the Homu Emperor and that f* banana can reverse your controls and a stopm that stun you if hit you, and dont has any real weakness like elements or physical in game so is really annoying

Kieran the description in Boothill's trailer isn't just the translations, it tells the lore of how when he was cyborgified, someone tampered with his Synesthesia beacon and made him "family-friendly" 😂

Acheron is one of the most OP characters in HSR now, I wont say much because spoilers and you wanna play without them, but she is one of the most loved characters from Hoyoverse and Honkai Impact 3rd players (and GGZ players) know why, but yeah she nukes the enemy in game so easily

I'm not having much luck with her, but it's been long proven that "kill enemies" is simply so low a natural build priority for me that I'm lousy at doing it. (Granted, this means I've barely noticed mechanics which apparently caused issues for other people.) Fortunately, while Penacony clearly favors a fast offense it isn't a thematically suitable place for the devs to introduce hard counters to healing, cleansing, and shielding. If they ever do, and that's questionable.

@@rotikaeju9303 Seele is great, the thing with Acheron is that she has no special support right now, even so she works really good with any nihility and works for almost any type of enemy

So in Acheron trailer she was basically fighting Sparkles clones that were imitating the stellaron hunters (thats why oyu see the sparkle mask and fishes a few times)

Aventurine dodged me like he owed me rent 😢 now I'm saving up for a future character (who i won't state for spoiler reasons). HSR really hates you if you're poor or F2P 😂 too many awesome characters not enough stellar jades!

I'm sure someone might've brought it up, but Robin does sing in game whenever you use her ult, and it lasts until her ult wears off. She sings the same song from her trailer! (Also, Boothills description is just to reveal that whoever works on his cybernetics decided to mess with his language model so he couldn't swear)

Song from Robin's trailer plays when she ults and ends only when her ult ends (it take some time, her ult is something of a long buff)

If you think Boothil's "wordings" is funny in the English dub, then you should hear his JP dub for sure. There's just something different about hearing a bad'ass Jojo character go "BABYYYYYY", or my personal favorite. "HOLY SWEEEEETTT" .

O just to let you know in a week or so we should be getting the 2.3 version trailer and around the 17th/18th will be the next character trailer. *However B4 you watch* them I'll let you know the next characters has a Massive spoiler in its gameplay so if you don't want to be spoiled for Penacony you might want to hold off reacting to it. And because you're interested in Acheron's power well she is both the strongest character in gameplay and Lore we've met to date. ( Not counting Aeons)

So there is actually a separate series of videos on the Honkai Star Rail called "Keeping Up With Star" which show the character abilities and skills in game. And as a bonus, you get to meet Owlbert, the host and a chibi character of someone related to the showcased character too! Don't worry they don't contain any spoilers (and even if they do you won't understand them anyway without context). You should definitely watch them sometime.

The reporter on the begin of Boothill’s is not a kid just a clan which look like kid, you gonna travel across universes please remind that you will contact multi different tribes on planets, that ….. well, couldn’t said alien, they use wording as Organic being and Inorganic being.

When that point total reaches 7, he automatically does a 10x bounce attack with this animation 10:38. His kit literally involves doing chip damage *Bounce in Star Rail means the attack hits random targets equal to its bounce value, in this case 10. Bounce is especially useful against single enemies, since that means it hits the same enemy for the full amount

I mean, statistically bounce is just as effective vs 5 enemies as it is vs 1, the effect is just spread over several enemies rather than 1.

"How strong is this lady?" my answer, Strong enough to be really scary, especially given how apathetic she is about most things. Also my take is that Sparkle's icons are the coy fish, they seem to always be around when she is and I think Sparkle can create entire illusions, not just mimic other people. Aventurine is so good, such a shady character in game, but in combat he's BUSTED. (Applies shields to everyone at the cost of a skill point and after the team takes enough damage he buries the enemies in chips) Robin sings as her ultimate, which buffs the whole party with extra damage, akin to the damage a 4th character would do, as well as other benefits. They also released an EP with other songs by Robin, she's a pop idol in game and real life XD. Yo, I got Boothill on my first pull, then proceeded to get nothing for like the next 30 pulls..... 🥲 Man stole all my luck. Also, he was apparently hacked? Reprogrammed to be unable to swear, which is crazy funny. I wonder if he'll ever be able to undo all of that.

If you're curious about how characters' kits work you can watch the "keeping up with star rail" series for a basic overview of each trailer character. I'll leave that to you but you've been pretty close with some of your guesses 😂

The Michael Jackson references are probably a seasonal thing: Penacony is a really good place for song and dance motifs, it is always some time of night and good for jazz and swing, and you probably saw an early stage of the thought process here in "White Night" when they decided the player character was getting a hat and some dance training. The word Aventurine used (probably) wasn't 'principle', it was 'principal'. This means everything you invested, which in the case of gambling is normal because it means "what you bet". (With investments you more typically can recover some fraction of what you put up even when the investment fails.) If you choose to interpret the rest of his trailer as answering the question he posed, his answer would be "the odds aren't worth checking, and the risk isn't high enough yet". ...If he actually did mean 'principle', and I confess it wasn't until your reaction that I even thought of that possibility, the context gets interesting. As far as I know, Robin has joined Yun Jin on the list of characters who have a secondary VA specifically for singing because the choice of language was cultural and the devs didn't want to dub it into other languages.

Sparkle fights using illusions so Archeron fights with illusions too but with stronger ones (Archeron's long sword is forged from the 12 Sentinel swords that Izumo forged)
