To me one major lesson of Geno’s story is that it can take YEARS for a player to develop enough to be successful in the NFL. I feel like too many quarterbacks get drafted and are expected to perform at an elite level right away and it just doesn’t work well for most. More quarterbacks need to have the time to develop before they become starters.

Before the 2022 season started, I predicted the Seahawks to finish with the worst record in the NFL. It wasn't a personal or biased prediction, it was just how I felt. Geno made me eat those words. I am so proud of him and what he's done at this stage of his career. He deserves all the credit in the world.

Honestly if there’s 2 Coaches I would want to play for ever would be Pete Carroll and my team the Steelers Mike Tomlin… There’s is nothing these 2 men have not seen in the game of football. Also I do hope Geno brings success to Seattle and people that like them hope they agree too..

As is usually the case, the couch quarterbacks out there wanna rag on Pete for this one thing that happened when he left USC or one disastrous play in a Super Bowl; he loses a game and it's like "Oh Pete's lost it, fire him and get somebody younger, blah blah blah." No one wants to talk about how loved and respected he is in the locker room and how damn near every player in the NFL wants to play under his program, because he knows how to get the best out of every individual player no matter what their position or what stage of their career they're in. If you simply measure the sustained overall success of the Seahawks throughout Pete's tenure, he's racked up a resume that is every bit as good as Bill Belichick's, without the reputation as a tyrant. There's "The Patriot Way" and then there is "The Pete Way," which in reality is "The Players' Way," because he frees his players to be themselves on the field and play with abandon and have fun doing it. Pete treats his players like the professionals they are, and takes care of them -- "loves 'em up," as he likes to say. When Paul Allen hired Pete I was skeptical too; that vanished by his 3rd season. And what he's done for Geno after cutting Russell Wilson loose is why players love him. Pete always believed in Geno and as long as he continued to compete he'd give Geno his chance; and Geno paid Pete back with a stellar season as the starter. He's been a little bumpy this year but I remain confident he'll be able to figure it out, as long as he lets Pete coach him and he stays out of his own head too much. Compete, but HAVE FUN, Geno; HAVE FUN and let fortune come to _you._ You don't have to try to make every pass play a home run; just trust what you see and let the opportunity present _itself._ We're with ya 100% bruh. Prayin' you have a monster game against the Ravens tomorrow.

As a Seahawks fan, I would have to say on paper Pete’s resume doesn’t come close to Belichick’s. ON PAPER. That being said, I think Belichick is the most overrated head coach in the history of the nfl. Brady made that man. It was Brady picking apart defenses on his own. I think we have just about proven that Belichick isn’t that great and Pete may be a better coach all together being able to get the most out of his players and turn nothing into something.

Geno may not be the best quarterback, he isn't the most athletic, he isn't the smartest, but he is the most resilient. His story, his journey and his leadership has earned him the right to be our starting QB, and when he comes to the podium after every game, he does not read any media script, he doesn't try to butter the situation, he says it as it is, and for some reason he makes me believe!

I like his story. He was all but done and made into a laughing stock in NY. He DID NOT look as if he knew what he was doing, but in Seattle, he looked good. he may have gotten nervous towards the end of his first few games as a starter, but he looked. Rex Ryan may have hated him and liked that he got his jaw broken and costing him his job - but he pulled through that as well. Seattle re-signed him and he is doing his thing. Now, we all know that worse QBs when he was wit The Jets, had gotten more time to turn into someone than he did, but some of us knows how it goes.

That story man. Years of just feeling like no one cares enough to really take a shot on him..finally the door squeaks open at the slightest..Wilson has a finger injury..in comes Geno and really never looked back and is in a place where Russell had the boys when we won so…All in All I Love Geno!💙💚
