GGG's defense is there when he needs it, but it seems that he goads boxers to throw punches just so he can be motivated? An all around fighter par excellence! Jacobs is a good guy, and likable, with good boxing credentials, so maybe Golovkin will come -out the best Golovkin he could be? If that happens, look out folks?

Well, i was the last one to believe the hype, Ishida lost 8 times, Macklin lost & was stopped before, Rosado was KO'd in 2 rounds before, but damn... the Macklin fight was impressive! Sadly Martinez' prime seems over, and i can't see a guy beating Golovkin. Barker has no chin, and Quillin? Not really.

He made a conscious decision to change his style, so that he'd be more marketable. Watch his amateur fights. He used to be much more active with his defense.

+MAGICBUCSSOX Fair comment but I think his offence definitely offsets his average defence. There aren't many middleweights that will want to trade shots with him and that works to his advantage.
