Hyunjin is an all-rounder, a genius artist indeed.

Hyunjin is definitely my favourite SKZ songwriter, no offense to 3Racha. His lyrics are always very poetic, and his melodic lines are so beautiful. For context, if you want to go on a Hyunjin journey, you have probably already reacted to many of these: Cover Me, #Lovestay, Miss You (little star), Ice Cream, Love untold, Contradicting, Untitled, Red Lights, Taste (I've always found his lines about the mix of colours so beautiful in this song). NB: Untitled is mostly sung by I.N, but Hyunjin wrote it. Hyunjin's singing voice is very soothing, most of his songs are pure therapy for the heart...

He knows how to make a good song, not overly complicated with heavy instrument jst simple piano and guitar and other instrument. And yes the paintings were done by him. oh and both the songs were inspired by movie closer.

thanks I like your reaction. Hyunjin songs are so genius his lyricists is just genius and so poetry. Hyunjin loves read poems his lyrics are poems too . He said he made both songs inspired by film ' closer' it's perfectly match with your theory, he said long for u is more like teaser intro but touching, and the hey you is another inspiration of the film . He said his thoughts changed thro end of movie so he wanted to Express that different feelings. He's so talented both art cover drew by himself and the whistle too was hyunjin voice

The city is asleep, the sky is brightening, the streets are empty, the chestnuts and the last stars are visible in the open window. And a gentle sadness in my heart. But Hey you is not Parisian, but Sydney. There is a lot of sun, light, warmth, and the ocean is nearby, and feet in the sand, and the wind in your hair, and the happiness of walking along the beach and feeling all the love of the world. Both songs were inspired by CLOSER.

Apparently his inspiration for both songs was the movie Closer. Han also wrote Close a while back after watching the same movie. Please do listen to Han’s 13. It’s really different for him. He says he was trying different vocal tones. Seungmin’s OST for web toon “I am the Queen in the Life” is also really good. He was proud of venturing into a new area for himself.

You should listen to Taste. It's only a lyrics video thats available, but at least you can hear the lyrics clearly. Also Deep End by Felix is only a lyrics video, but it's a deeply moving song showcasing his unique vocals.
