Personally I thought Affleck’s Batman was by far the scariest Batman we have seen on screen to date. I always thought The Batman should be portrayed that way. We should get that sense of dread, when he is on the screen, that is the whole reason the character dresses as a Bat in the first place, to strike fear. That scene in the house, where the cop walks past him first where he is in the corner, then pans quickly back to just barley catch a glimpse of him. That’s what a Batman confrontation should be like. The warehouse scene was awesome, you see his fighting abilities, at the same time you see his physical size and strength. 6’4 and shredded as he managed to get he was definitely the most physically intimidating Batman we have seen on screen

I love his acting but BvS was straight up trash. The guy who thought to put that into writing took away someone else's opportunity. I am a batman fan. When I hear Affleck was gonna take in the role I was excited but disappointed when I saw the movie. But it had nothing to do with his acting ability it was the script and the fact it felt like someone had minimal knowledge of batman and just created a movie base on the character instead of making a batman film. I still love him and Snyder direction skill. Just feel like neither was up for the role. I feel like if both where to research the roles they are trying to display in the big screen would have been a massive improvement

What I picked up was that as an accountant, staying under the radar, he should have been driving a plain car or SUV. He would still have the pickup, only it would be in a larger storage locker, already connected to the trailer, thereby saving him the 12 minutes he needed before. Also, that way, he could hide the car at the airport, UBER to the truck, and disappear in a completely different vehicle.

I actually suspect the prison mentor was the symbol for Harvey Weinstein. People often accuse Affleck of being the protege of Weinstein, rightly or wrongly. I think this is Affleck's subtle way of acknowledging that Weinstein taught him the inner workings of Academy and on how to campaign successfully for an Oscar. After all, Weinstein and his Miramax had a very successful run of helping their stars and movies get Oscars.

Some people in Hollywood wanted Ben Affleck's career finished. Make no mistake, MeToo was created just to take him down. He lost his Batman role because of it. He lost his Accountant franchise because of it. I only made the connnection when I checked out the film's production teams and found out that they targeted the finance company that funded the film's production, again by using MeToo. So the franchise went on a long hiatus until recently when I am sure behind the scenes at Warner Bros decided to revive the franchise (some executive wanted to save his career because of the Warner Bros's Discovery merger). And I think Affleck knew he was in trouble as early as 2014 when the film started the pre-production. Gavin O'Connor, the director, said in an interview when the movie premiered that he had been surprised that Affleck wanted to work with him, because he knew Affleck was very busy, what with his upcoming Batman movie, his own directing project "Live by Night". I think Affleck took on this project as a plan B in the incoming battle, in case if he lost Batman, he still had another franchise, only his adversaries in the industry really wanted him dead. If you watched Live by Night, you probably would have found that the similarities between Live By Night's protagonist and Affleck's life post 2017 are really uncanny. It seems Affleck predicted his future in the film by writing it. Oh, and I suspect Affleck deliberately sabotaged Live By Night, because of a feud two of his friends had with another major star, and Live by Night was his act of loyalty to his friends. Only of course, the failure of Live by Night forced him to step down from his solo Batman directing film, which triggered the chain of events beyond his control.

Clearly. The note he leaves for her -- "You deserve 'Wow." [Or words to that effect; haven't seen it in a while, so forgive me if the quote isn't word-perfect.] The tragedy being, he doesn't understand -- can't understand -- he IS her "Wow." That's clear to us, from the fact that she goes looking for him, among other things. But not to him. That NEEDS to be resolved.

I liked that they used actual organized crime groups like when he asks the henchman who he works for. Says Juarez and Gambino among others. Even goes to the Ravenite John Gottis old social club. Well one of them anyhow. Not a hotel. Then kills a mob guy with a kick lol.
