#DidYouKnow: Almost all the cells in our body have DNA, the exception being red blood cells. However, all red blood cells start with DNA - they simply destroy their nucleus once it is no longer needed as part of the maturation process. ✅To access all videos related to Genetics, enroll in our full course now: infinitylearn.com/cbse-fullcourse?KZread&DME&QjVnJ7H198 To watch more Genetics videos, click here: bit.ly/GeneticsBasics_DMYT

Amazing
very nice video but I have a question regarding this topic I hope you will answer. why Griffith concluded that the transforming material must be the genetic material? I mean it must be the other thing than the genetic material that transformed the bacteria.
@biologywithannie
2 жыл бұрын
Scientists knew thanks to Mendel's experiments that genotype (genes present in an organism) determines the phenotype. The smooth coating on the S strain (phenotype) is determined by the genetic material (also known as genes) in the bacteria. Seeing Griffith's experiment, scientists considered the possibility of the genes being transferred from killed-S strain to R strain and this could be why the R strain was able to produce the smooth coating. All of this was confirmed only after observing Avery's experiment and Hershey's experiments. They were able to show that it is indeed due to the genetic material and that genes are made up of DNA.

I have a question..please answer that why did not the third mouse die when heat killed strain was injected in it.if dna was still present in heat killed strain?.reply?
@thepluckedflower1570
3 жыл бұрын
because DNA alone can not kill mouse , it needed R strain bacteria's body to get active again.
Super make videos of all topics in biology 12
How do u edit.... Please reply
I still confused with the section of head killed ,s,strain+R strain and how relate to DNA or transforming principles?
Keep it up
💞💞❤️❤️💓 awesome 😍
Please make more videos on biology sub...
One thing How DNA was transferred from heat killed bacteria to rough bacteria in a mixture how does it possible :)
@jyotiverma2689
3 жыл бұрын
Heat killed bacteria meaning the ceasing of function of bacteria. The proteins and lipids which is present at cell membrane and nuclear membrane will degrades at such a high tempt and the bacteria won't able to survive leading to the release of DNA into the medium. And then by competence , other bacteria like R strain will uptake the DNA and convert into S strain or vice versa .
Where does strain come from
Suppose you are playing a star ludo match. What is the probability of getting 2 six and a five with a single shot?
Nice
pls make on coding and non coding dna sequences
hi I need these info resources if you dint mind. thank you
