Your 100% correct about using it as a tool. We've been using PS for over 30 years and the Gen fill in PS is much more useful as a tool to enhance existing images than creating one from "scratch". It's quite remarkable as a compositional aide specifically regarding object removal and re-composition . Regarding the 1024 limitation: Depending on the scene using a neural depth blur works wonders but you have to apply it judiciously. It's still better to stick with 1024 bits though. Not sure what @enatiodromia 's issue is. As concept art it's looking very nice. Maybe he/she/they don't any (concept) of what concept art is? Well done!

As a Pro I fond this intriguing - but one skill you develop as a photogpraher beyond composition is lighting - the image you have created was based around an HDR image which is already a blend of exposures and nodal shadowing fill - this means you are already at a disadvantage to add in other elements - in nature there is only one light source - the sun obviously - this is why some of those elements don't look as naturally integrated as they might or should. The dragon is lit from the front - the background from a different angle etc

I appreciate the attempt, but this image has several problems. First, Photoshop's generative intelligence currently does not work well with animals and humans; in fact, the inserted dragon is very fake. Second, I find that the castle is not appropriate for the background image you used and in which I would have made some changes to make it more truthful. Maybe change the mountains or insert a river because the impression I have now is that the landscape is too much like the countryside. The clouds also give me a strange feeling and a better result could have been achieved. The color correction you used in the finished work is not bad but the band of light through the clouds looks very fake and the castle is too brightly lit and should have some shaded parts. Sorry buddy

Hmm I must have missed the recently found photographs of real dragons? When have you ever seen a "real"dragon? That generation could be 100% accurate for all you know! The easy work around for "realistic" (or at least more realistic) images such as animals/humans is to prompt them in MJ and then Gen them in PS. You'll find the results will be quite pleasing. As for the overall concept art he created. It's actually very nice. Not sure what you're seeing?

@@Lensman64 As you said, integration with Mid Journey or other artificial intelligence can be the perfect combo in getting a consistent result, especially in animals and humans. I never claimed that there were pictures of realistic dragons, and for that very reason I would never have included it that way. A warrior in armor would have been much more functional for the test. As for the rest, I personally do not find the image pleasing and I have explained what the reasons are. The way I see it, it would have been much more appropriate and functional to transform the image to make it more "illustrative" and less realistic. There are elements that clash with each other in the total balance and the lighting and postproduction were not done properly. However, this is my very personal thoughts as a graphic designer and illustrator- I definitely don't want to be petulant :D

Why is so wrong lighting in your video, you should fix your lighting at your studio first...
