at least you had respect to keep the peace within the class even if there were disturbances. clearly these people don't know a single thing about how the real world works. Not even those girls in the back on that last clip who argued with the teachers. from my own personal experience in middle/highschool looking back on it, arguments can easily turn into crash outs if you don't take the proper precautions in getting to know the individual at hand. Otherwise, everyone else is gonna get lectured on the same dumb shit lecture about "what's right and wrong" without moving forward. Edit: but even then......if times call for it, defend yourself physically.

The chapter highlights the excesses and superficiality of the Jazz Age, with revelry and indulgence masking deeper personal emptiness. Nick also meets Jordan Baker, who becomes an important character in the novel, and learns more about Gatsby's mysterious background.

Chapter four of "The Great Gatsby" delves deeper into Gatsby's mysterious background. Nick discovers more about Gatsby's past through various accounts, revealing contradictory stories about his wealth and origins. Gatsby's extravagant parties continue, but Nick starts to question the authenticity of Gatsby's persona. The chapter further explores themes of identity, social status, and illusion in the Jazz Age.
