why isnt this game more popular, it has lore, cool graphics, giant robots, and is overall fun, while other popular games barely have lore and arent too fun, this game is very underrated and should be appreciated more.

The tanks rockets can just be arched through a window, just because your inside of a building doesn’t make you safe.

Lol, this literally happened to me yesterday, it was my first tank i fought in the game and it was on the hardest difficulty the game could go, and i just hid in a house and shot it’s knees with a shotgun

Anyone else imaging this as some kind of post apocalyptic Netflix series? Something like Stranger Things but with a group of teenagers surviving in the Swedish countryside against the killer robots (as per the game). I imagine this theme playing over an 80s style intro sequence with the old fashioned '*actor* as *character*' style cuts interspersed with action sequences.

I would recommend the swedish movie 'The Unthinkable (Det Otänkbara)'. A bit slow at times but real GenZ feel through out and some of the actionsscenes are on par with Hollywood

I could listen to this on repeat for hours....so good.

Just started playing this again. I spawned in, heard gun shots, and then found a fall on war happening between the Russian and Swedish bots. Didn’t even know they added new bots but man, that was the best way for me to have found out.

One of the best survival shooters I've ever played. Hands down. Maybe my Swedish bias is talking but this game so damn underrated it's insane. It probably has THE best gun sounds and gunplay in any game too. Today 2024, this game is easily a must play game.

Tbh. to this very day it does feel quite janky, various weird design choices and even bugs can pop up. Especially if you play in coop. Not sharing mission xp is weird af.

I've played just around 100 hours and now im at that point where i discovered the whole map, made every mission and nearly got every 6* weapon and the full exo armor. I quit playing some months ago because theres no sense to continue without the resistance update with alot more content...

After around 8 hours (A few weeks) of completely empty and almost aimless coop play, we finally met real survivors in the campaign as the robots were blowing up a tower at night and we got some updates on the storyline. It was one of the most brilliant moments of the game. After that, we became immediately interested again but then it goes back to being empty again. I still have no idea how and when this game ends, but someday I'll come back to it lol

that synth. never knew music could cause this electrifying feeling in your gut, yet this does. it's amazing

But instead of it being shoved in your face through cutscenes, popups, etc, its done through short radio transmissions, letters you find and most importantly: environmental storytelling. The last one is easy to just gloss over if you play just to shoot robots thought

Absolutely Love this game! So much fun when Alone or with a squad of good buddies! The soundtrack is just as great and atmospheric as the Gameplay! Me and one of my best friends team up on this game almost daily and we always have a great time, I still remember the first time we saw a Tank (Not that Long ago as I have only been playing for a good 2 weeks) we almost pissed our pants! I just can't show how much I love this game in text!

This game is underated it has amazing graphics, music, gameplay, and mechanics, each individual robot having something that makes them unique... Harvesters curl into balls, hunters can leap at you, reapers can self destruct, firebirds fly, tanks charge, ticks act like headcrabs, wolves can go from vechiles to massive robots etc... its a game that deserves more credit than it actually gets.

Started playing this game recently and all I can say is like Alien Isolation it’s extremely artistic. From the lighting to the music to the atmosphere etc... it really brings all the elements that make a game great.

This game was beautiful on launch day and with all the dlc and updates it is still beautiful. More so. The farm lands revitalization was incredible to be. My first playthrough, it was just exactly that. A farm land. NOW it has reminiscences of no man's land with the battle scarred terrain and exploded building... And and and! It blew my mind when I saw the robots fighting Russian robots for the first time! Such an adventure from day one till now!

0:35 gives me chills every time

This song gives me goosebumps, it's been long time since I had one.

this is one of the most dramatic intros in my opinion. you litterally get that feeling that the worlds been overrun theres no hope left but to fight for every day. i love it

All those dislikes came from the rivals you dominated.

You can hear the influence of the Terminator 2 theme. This game deserves so much more love and recognition.

It would be cool if generation zero 2 takes place somewhere between frövi and örebro.

maaan i was playing this today, took me almost an hour and a half probably to take out a harvester, tank and hunters dude. It’s wild how hard this game is and yet im still freaking hooked on completing it, can’t wait to see what happens

Netflix better get on a show about this game, and I have a perfect thing for it, what if they get the actual experimental gear from the game

Got every achievement in this game and absolutely loved my time with it. Such an empty open world yet so fun to explore and discover everything. Terrifying when a bunch of tanks show up on you 😂 one of the best games xbox game pass has to offer, I would highly recommend it.

I cameback to this game after 3 years and it's honestly gotten so much beter. The environments are less copy paste, the narrative has more voice acting, as well as actual NPC's you can interact with. I'm glad I gave it another shot.
