I saw that he came on as a liason, basically help train the actors and shit. They couldn't find anyone to play Rudy, so they went to Rudy and he was like "uhh, okay." and BAM, Sgt Reyes is Sgt Reyes.

I can not get enough of some of the banter among these guys. It is awesome. If I were stuck with a bunch of guys, I’d definitely want Iceman, Rudy, and Ray Ray along for the ride. The shit that comes out of Ray’s mouth is pure gold.

Evan Wright wrote a prologue for Rudy's own book "Hero Living". In it he mentioned he always find Rudy to be an outlier among other Marines and for that reason Rudy gets Evan's attention a lot. This scene with Evan staring at Rudy before Ray's line is definitely them portraying what Evan wrote in those paragraphs.

Rudy definitely has his own swagger 😂😂... people appreciate that in the real world... cut hair, cook food, be a host, security guard, solider.

This is so awesome, seeing as most of this clip is almost identical in dialogue to the book.

For anyone who doesn't know this yet: Rudy is actually playing himself in this. Look it up.
