wow we've come along way on this series and i'm loving it and to tell you to keep up the great work and i have a question about teddy. will there be an easter quest. i was thinking maybe there could be an egg around any of the maps and you simply touch and you get the skin. kinda like the ginger skin. can you reply with your thought of if you will add this feature i think it pretty cool. what about you?
NO I HAVE ALREADY NEARLY FINISHED THE SERIES! I need more, these videos are BRILLIANT

Hello, by the end of this series I turned the project into a finished albeit basic football game. Currently on my channel I'm making a Tower Defense game tutorial.
I love how he holds his laugh when he says blueballs
Hey @GnomeCode whenever I run the script the ball is only 1 stud wide, what am I doing wrong? Code below --Defines Variables Ball = workspace.Ball OriginPos = Ball.Position --Changes balls properties while true do newBall = Instance.new('Part') newBall.Shape = Enum.PartType.Ball newBall.BrickColor = BrickColor.Blue() newBall.Position = OriginPos newBall.Parent = workspace wait(2) newBall:Destroy() end
its been 1 year and i still laugh when he says " we got alot of blue balls "
woah there gnome code
I love how self aware he was when he made "new balls"
Your da best coding yt!!!!
I don’t know what is going on but it’s awesome
underrated
hi i have been doing your tro videos, and there good for teaching, but i have a problem when i play the code 3:24 in the video i get an error of "Unable to create an Instance of type "part"" do can you or someone help me
Interestingly, more I was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the part randomly while it is being created.
@GnomeCode

Love the title 👍
4:00 i understood that lol
Anybody else noticed that the clone command is way better at football then gnome XD
Did you forget about your mafia city game
Yes!
why does :clone create multiple parts?
what is part type
thanks it works now
Mine has a error saying 'blue' is not a valid member of BrickColor can this be solved or is this just outdated?
Hey on chapter 3 on teddy you can glitch out of the toy place
hello @gnomecode is my script wrong? bc it dosen't work ball = workspace.ball originalposition = ball.Position while true do newball = Instance.new ("Part") newball.shape = Enum.parttipe.ball newball.brickcolor = BrickColor.Blue() newball.position = originalposition newball.parent = workspace wait (3) end

setting up properties are case sensitive like Parent instead of parent and also in your 6 line you misspelled Parttipe.ball instead of Particle.Ball i guess always check your spelling before executing your code i hope it helps :)

One time I accidentally made an infinite ball script and I couldn't figure out how to stop it haha it was not good haha
Is there a reason this series isn't teaching common good coding practices like writing local before declaring variables and storing scripts in the appropriate locations (not in workspace)? There are also services you could be teaching in this one (like Debris), but it makes since if you left that out if this series is meant for beginners
@GnomeCode
3 жыл бұрын
Fair questions. I was intending to address the issue of scope in a later lesson. As for using ServerScriptService, for me that's more an issue of project management. I thought it was simpler to purely focus on workspace for now. Services also haven't been introduced yet, so that's why I didn't use Debris.
