Topic : General Science : Chemistry In One Shot (Part -1) | For WBCS Prelims 2023 | WBPSC Wallah | In Bengali
Welcome to our comprehensive guide for WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) Exam Chemistry Preparation! In this video, we delve into five important topics: States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Radioactivity, Acid-Base & Salt, and Periodic Table. Mastering these subjects is crucial for success in the WBCS examination, and this video aims to provide you with a clear understanding of each topic.
States of Matter:
Understanding the different states of matter is essential in chemistry. In this section, we cover the properties, characteristics, and behavior of solids, liquids, and gases. Explore concepts such as intermolecular forces, phase transitions, and the relationship between pressure, temperature, and volume. Learn about critical points, supercritical fluids, and phase diagrams.
Atomic Structure:
The atomic structure forms the foundation of chemistry. We dive into the structure of atoms, including subatomic particles such as protons, neutrons, and electrons. Discover the arrangement of electrons in shells and energy levels, and understand the significance of atomic number, mass number, isotopes, and electronic configurations. We also discuss the periodic table's relation to atomic structure.
Radioactivity:
Radioactivity is a fascinating topic with wide-ranging applications. In this segment, we explore the types of radioactive decay, including alpha, beta, and gamma decay. Learn about radioactive half-life, decay equations, and the concept of nuclear stability. Understand the uses and hazards of radioisotopes and their impact on health and the environment.
Acid-Base & Salt:
Acids, bases, and salts are fundamental concepts in chemistry. We explain the theories of acids and bases, including Arrhenius, Bronsted-Lowry, and Lewis definitions. Understand pH, pOH, indicators, neutralization reactions, and titrations. Explore the properties and uses of common salts, including their role in chemical reactions and everyday life.
Periodic Table:
The periodic table is a crucial tool for understanding the elements. We delve into the organization of the periodic table, including periods, groups, and blocks. Learn about trends in atomic size, ionization energy, electronegativity, and chemical reactivity. Understand the significance of valence electrons, periodicity, and the periodic law.
By watching this video, you will acquire a comprehensive knowledge base on States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Radioactivity, Acid-Base & Salt, and the Periodic Table, equipping you with the necessary tools to excel in the WBCS Exam Chemistry section. Our engaging explanations, examples, and visual aids will help you grasp complex concepts easily and reinforce your understanding.

Nitrogen gas does not get bind with blood because it does not have Nitrogen binding protein complex to binding Nitrogen. Human have unable to inhale Nitrogen because it is an inert gas and consists of triple bond which is unreactive Nitrogen is unable to break after breathing.

    Atomic Model একটা Completely Quantum Mechanical Problem ... তবে কিছু মৌলের ক্ষেত্রে ground state e f orbital এ ইলেকট্রন থাকলেও , 1st exited state e g orbital এ Electronic transition হয়।
