@@lovelaced928 actually nothing catastrophic happened. I just traded it in for a new car. 2019 Buick Envision. I’m A Buick/GM guy. That’s all I buy.

I just purchased a LaCROSSE with the navigation system and this video gave me a very good overview of the system. It will make it much easier for me to set it up and program.

Hello, could you tell me if the 2011 buick lacrosse 2.4L CX has a hidden menu because in the maintenance manual it tells me that to change the automatic transmission oil I must add the oil when the temperature of the transmission fluid has reached 85°F and that the transmission fluid temperature information appears in the box menu. Do you know how to find that information? regards

Just bought a 2017 LaCrosse and do not have the weather setting. Also my navigation setting button can only be used with On Star. I do not have the map as soon as I touch the button like you displayed. Why is that? Any comments. Thank you.

I just bought a used 2015 Buick LaCrosse with 9,000 miles. I only got 1 key fob. Any suggestions on getting another without paying an enormous price? Also mine does not have the weather icon. How do i get it? Thanks for your video. You are a great presenter.

Just went through the same thing with my Enclave. Sounds like you are already aware that GM(and Buick and Chevy) now tries to soak the consumer who desires to purchase and program a spare remote. They have been perpetrating this strategy since about 2011. My solution was to find a remote online by doing a general search. Found one on ebay (northernlightsautosupply) for $19.95. No GM dealership would program it unless I paid them $40 to TRY. I found a place called keylessshop.com and they had a kiosk near me outside a local Sears store. For $25 The Keyless shop programmed the remote. Mind you the ebay seller agreed to take their remote back if it would not program, and the Keyless shop agreed to not charge me unless they were successful in programming the remote. Bottom line: A remote that would have cost me over $200 at a dealer cost me a total of about $45 with a just little effort. PS: When I discussed programming my already purchased remote at the various GM dealerships, they would only "try" to program my remote if I paid them a non-refundable $40 because "they had to pay the technician ot try". I watched the guy from the Keyless Shop program my remote while he sat in my vehicle with his little laptop. It literally took him less than one minute! Also I suggest that you bring all existing key fob(s) with you because sometimes the programming of one remote wipes out the programming on existing remotes and he will take care of that issue if the remotes are present.
