Say that AGAIN, bro. Arthur Mafokate is really underrated here in SA, and yet there's no Kwaito music genre without Arthur "The King Of Kwaito" Mafokate.
last man standing 😢
There was Soweto Community Radio (SCR) & Voice Of Soweto (VOS).They merged and became JOZI FM
GTZ still got one of the best kwaito verses on Chiskop - Abasazi

Dankooo General GTZ what a beautiful interview yet again DJ Sbu dankooo .. s/o Dr Sunglen Chabalala our Tsonga Queen a Legend in the game
You can tell dat general co-wrote alot of songs on Ndozline's albums🤞🏾
Eish...that last 14 minutes touched my soul.
What a beautiful and spiritual intervention of souls, to those present and gone but not forgotten, life is so beautiful & yet very scary at the same time, when Sbu said "its a gift that you have been borrowed for a short time that won't be there forever" I felt that, the levels these people have managed to reach is beyond imagination, yet not even the limit, imagine if we could all reached out full potential???....
eish GTZ😭of joy
Whenever I see that Ja Rule New York song, I comment by writing Nkalakatha

Never stop commenting. Even Jay-Z and Kanye ripped a Caiphus Semenya song and Bra Caiphus was like cool, just run me my cheque. Americans have been ripping off African music from back in the day, Michael Jackson's on his "Wanna be starting something" included a chant ripped off from Manu Dibango's song, "Soul Makossa". Dibango sued his arse and they settle out of court. Years later, Rhianna's released a song "Don't stop the Music" and included the chant, she sought clearance from Michael's people but failed to consult Manu Dibango...Manu Dibango sued both Michael Jackson and Rhianna. I don't know what the outcome was but Dibango didn;t play when it comes to his art. Mandoza's wife needs to go and speak to Bra Caiphus Semenya and get some advise on how to get this sorted!

Iyooo this take me way back, and I’m not crying you are, enkosi boobuti bam 🙏🏽🙌🏾✨💫
Wow❤
Cool & Dre produced the track for rapper Fat Joe, who initially turned it down. Jadakiss was said to be interested in the track; however, Ja Rule grabbed it almost immediately. When Irv Gotti learned of the history behind who was to have the track, he mentioned it to Ja Rule, and then they offered for both Fat Joe and Jadakiss to be featured on the track. The song contains a sample of Nkalakatha by Mandoza. Though not credited on the songs credit the song is a slowed down Mandoza's produced by Gabbie Lerroux.
This iz dope 🇿🇦🔥
Wow!!what an authentic dialogue....can relate🤫
I wish he went into detail about getting a white gf in Europe while touring with Tkzee. Magesh told half the story at Mandozas funeral
