Honestly, I'm not such a big fan of these kinds of videos, just because they don't feel very personal, more like a promo or teleshopping. And they seem to feed the consumerist culture we live in - I like the art or music recommendations, house tours or second-hand objects which have a special meaning and beauty, but the cosmetic/makeup stuff, not so much.

I completely agree. The second I learned about so much stuff being sent to Christine for free I discredit the reviews of the products. I miss the music and stuff.

I totally agree as well. Like I still never miss a video of hers, but they don't give me the same vibe that they used to. It's so hard to find videos like that anymore unless people have a small amount of subscribers. Guess I'll go back to rewatching her old videos :(

Thanks! The lipstick is Too Faced 'Lady Balls' and the brows I'm just wearing the Glossier Boy Brow...no color underneath. I like to rotate my products so I do use the Anastasia pomade from time to time

The creator of the product's father is some kind of minister or deacon. I suspect he wouldn't participate in anything meant to denigrate christianity. It seems more like the perfume/elixir is meant to carry a blessing to each person who wears it? It's a different perspective which actually makes the inclusion of holy water seem like a gesture of hopeful kindness.
