Gee, Now Gene gets in trouble with the famers, after they get themselves tractors, instead of horses to do the farm work. The tractor firm wants to cave in on their payment agreements with the farmers, because of late payments...Okay. Seems plausible. Now Gene said he would get more horses to help out the farmers do their farm duties. Gene just races off to the hills, and picks up 50 easy head of horses, ... just like that. Now tell me, why haven't the farmers done that in the past, in getting horses, instead of buying them from Gene, or buying tractors? Getting horses off the open range are FREE. So why pay for horses through Gene, at $300 a head? Doesn't really make sense to me, when the farmers can round up their own horses, for FREE, and not have to shell out a dime for them. I call that Free horse labor. Apparently, the horse herd wasn't all that far away from the town they were in, as both parties reached the area where the horses were caught, quite easily. Farmers had horses to use to round up heads from the herd. Don't make sense to the story. Anyone agree?

Your thinking too hard. It's a musical movie and people enjoy hearing Gene sing.

@@monicaclark9581 Oh, Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Gene singing, but still the horse issue, still doesn't make sense.
