It was bound to happen. As teenage/young girls are so neglected here in terms of entertainment that nobody is making content for them. A big chunk of the content is created for boys/men. Most of the female releted content is limited to either social or for middle aged women. In this digital world girls too need entertainment and Korea has aced it. So they are supplying the entertainment to the section most ignored by others. And in teenage everybody do some stupid thing, so just let them be..

Talking about popularity of their shows and music then blame bollywood copying everything from western media or south movies. Now people watch south movies more than bollywood movies. So, Blame them too, then!!!!

Millenials did not have access to the content outside india during their teenage days only ultra rich have that through imported stuffs but as internet became so accessible after jio revolution in late 2010s all people specially kids in their teens started watching content which are made outside india...and kdramas are often times on the same line of indian values which are family values ,subtle and slow burn romance ...its just like indian daily soaps theme if they were not daily soaps but limited series .... And the kids active on social media are mostly the unproductive part of the generation ..they do not have any intellectual interest so their is nothing surprising But there is other lart of genz too who are hyper agressive and part of toxic fan army like of elvish yadav and watch big boss and also have extremely sanghi and regressive views And both of these groups of genz just lack any intellectual thought

TBH Eventhough I am not Gen Z but I was not interested in politics until my mid twenties. The first time I took interest in politics was when I had to file my ITR 😂 On a serious note, I have always been patriotic since the time I’ve watched Border. Gen Z ki galti nahi hai, ab waisi movies banti nahi (and Border was relevant back in the day, in today’s age & time, we need more movies like Uri which shows our tech savvy soldiers fighting for us and I still the feeling of patriotism

@@ObitoUchiha10089 Most people just form opinions via social media posts...so most who even rightfully criticize won't be able to explain you the actual issue as they just put their 2nd hand opinions here. Anyways...the main issue was between two tribes - Kuki and Meiti. Kukis live in hilly areas and are in minority and meiti in majority. Many Kukis are also seen as illegal migrants. A recent ruling by Manipur High court bench allowed the Meitis to attain the status of Scheduled Tribes (giving the quotas in govt jobs and other benefits like buying land in hilly areas). Kukis felt threatened that all benefits are gone now. Clashes happened between both groups. Allegations are that - Manipur govt (being a BJP govt) is supporting Meitis (as they are Hindus) and not helping Kukis (as majority are Christians). Centre was also silent on the issue (doing nothing) and neither reprimanding the state govt for its inaction. Then came the video of 2 Kuki girls being dragged naked on streets (many so called woke people only came to know about the issues at this time and whole opinion is based on this only). But many reports suggest violence is happening on both sides (Meities are suffering as much as Kukis). It still is going on with some breaks in between and reports have come in that illegal migrants from Myanmar (a China sympathizing country) are fueling this fight. Hence the govt is considering completely fencing the Myanmar border (allowing no movement).

Me being gen z girl I need part 2.I am fed of my friend being Bts,nct,vagera fan .I can’t even start any conversation with them because it starts with Korea end with Korea.yup I am fan of hwasa from K-pop group mamamoo 😅 but I didn’t do any phd in K-pop or Korea to talk about them.I just admire them but many of them say they want to marry them they are delusional They even address their fav K-pop members as my boy or mera Banda .they are so cringe eww . but there are some who are interested in politics,diplomacy,current affairs we have conversations about that also but they are species in our school.

I saw some comments by GenZ talking about Manipur. I agree what’s happening there is not acceptable. But before this event how many of you were even aware of or interested in North East. Did any of you know that Manipur got their first railway line couple of years ago? Guwahati used to be the only railway station for years after independence for NE. Now there are airports and better roads getting built. But no one cared when NE was underdeveloped and neglected. I grew up in NE due to military connection, I have seen insurgencies there. You GenZ don’t know what Assam went through with ULFA, and last year a pact was signed by govt with the same outfit. Does GenZ even know that Manipur violence was started this time after a judgement by the court? Read up on it. My worry is this generation does not read history or do much research on a topic. But sees a reel or KZread short to form their opinion, which is dangerous. Same thing is happening with Genz in the US. The recent Gaza conflict made that evident.

Yahi baat foreigners par bhi applicable hai. Wo log bhi apne artists ko best maante hain like Michael Jackson, Freddy Mercury, Elvis Presley, Queen, the beatles etc. Kyonki unhone bhi kabhi Indian artists ko explore nahi kiya.
