Gen. Tumwine confronts Lt. Gen Angina over land dispute
A row over land in Muyenga, Kampala has resulted in the Security Minister Gen. Elly Tumwine warning the deputy coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation Lt. Gen. Charles Angina to stop tarnishing the name of the army. The row between businessman Godfrey Kirumira and a doctor Ben Khingi is over a road. Tumwine accused Angina of deploying police and the army to support Dr. Khingi in opening up the boundaries of the contested land which Kirumira claims#NTVNews

Tumwine you should lean how handle issues
Unprofessional and missing leadership !a superior can't do such to a subordinate fellow general in public he should have used other required means
Kirumira you are not different from king because you have not gone to court but looked for a politician to intervene . You as good as each other.
Surely how could the minister humiliate a general in that fashion..!! This should have been handled in a much decent way. In my opinion its going to have a lasting implication on the rank in file with in the army.

@@happychris7315and that's the whole point all he needed to do was to summon the Lt general with out all the cameras present because this might be perceived as tribal

In my opinion, Angina deserved the humiliation. He humiliated those he found on the land, woke them up at night to do something unlawful. You don't do such in public and expect a rebuke in private.

Lt gen. Angina is a former deputy CDF and currently the deputy coordinator OWC, second to gen. Saleh. It was very unfair for Gen. Tumwine to castigate his fellow army officer publicly like that. Tumwine should have summoned Angina and rebuke his actions in a professional way but not in a humiliating way like this. I am sure this is going to spark off divisions in the army and govt enemies can use that as an entry point. Why should a full Gen. act under the influence of a civilian like Kirumira? Let an investigation into that land wrangle be conducted, you'll discover that Kirumira is on the wrong side. Ugandans we rebuke Tumwine's actions!
