I'm not a big fan, but Team Secret is definitely in the best shape it's ever been. 2GE and INVY are really great young guys. Still, If they choke and lose in the playoffs again…, I won't never have any faith in them.

I’ve been a critic of TS due to their questionable decisions in the past especially when they decided to kick out Warbirds for Dummy and haven’t found a replacement for Jessie. But I’m glad this nepo team finally improved, Jessie is no longer a Sova one-trick and actually expanded his agent pool to playing Cypher and Killjoy on Split and Lotus respectively. Signing 2GE and Wild0reoo gave this team the necessary firepower to finally compete. I also wanna point out their afterplant discipline, unlike Paper Rex they don’t take any unnecessary pushes and let the opposition come to them. But the real challenge comes playoffs if they can finally secure a spot in Champs.

Blud didnt watch 2022 and 2023 Secret, sure Vash was predominantly a Sova main but he played KJ on both Fracture and Pearl last year, Breach Fracture 2022 Even if they replace Vash which Filipino IGL who's better than him would you vouch for even? (Edit: on non Sova and Fade maps he always played Sentinels there's a reason why Sova top 1 user is Rossy and not Vash)

Their coms now sound like a mix of igl duties with vash being the main. That combined with an increase in firepower probably caused the Improvement. The strats they use now (5v5 duel prx style) would just fall apart on previous iterations due to lack of firepower.

GenG is still a great team, unfortunately TS is just a *"Titan Slayer."* A consistent darkhorse but only against the strong teams. In fact if they're fighting strong teams, their chances increases. We see them go yolo against those teams and bring out their best, but their title also hints to you that they're really only good at defeating strong teams because for some reason, they collapse against the mid and weak ones. The reason for that though is quite easy to theorize, I think it's because they become more lax and don't bring out their A game if they're fighting a team they think they are equal or stronger than. Also their counter strating is definitely geared against the strong teams which is good normally but it definitely leaves them vulnerable to mid and lower ones that they likely don't counter strat at all.

I'm really confident that they aren't just "Titan Slayers" in this new roster.

I also wanna point out that GenG’s main problem still haunts them even after Masters Shanghai and that’s mental fortitude. They become way too complacent when they get a huge lead but when a team starts to comeback, they’re mental begins to immediately crumble and they lose, which is something that happened to them way back Masters Madrid.
