Gen 9's Underrated Competitive Pokémon
Its been about a MONTH since the release of Pokemon Home in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Gen 9 OU competitive tier. There has been AMAZING Pokemon in the meta game from Enamorus to Great Tusk to Galarain Slowking and more, however there are also Pokemon not being talked enough for instance like Alolan Muk and Ceruledge. These are the top 5 most underrated Pokemon in Gen 9 OU singles. Let me know in the comments below what you guys think of the most underrated Pokemon in generation 9.

(Frequent Questions)
Q: Where is the gameplay from?
A: Pokemon Showdown
Q: How are the sprites looking like generation 5?
A: Click the settings button and you can change the sprite display
Q: Why is the gameplay have the opponent being dumb?
A: Well surprise its me playing as the opponent as well and having Pokemon faint every 5 seconds isn't as fun as seeing the Pokemon do something in the battle for some time, which is why the gameplay seems like the opponent is braindead. Although I have taken some feedback and have tried to make it more interesting as possible without making the Pokemon faint every 5 seconds for hopefully better entertainment.

@@bluebaron6811 They are tied on speed iirc at 50, and an ultra boosted sucker punch + whatever any type of chip dmg (since Kingambit always enters last) will probably kill alolan muk anyways If for any reason the Kingambit can make sure to win the speed tie, they will go for Iron head or a better move and It’s still rip.

Muk is one of my favorite Pokémon to use because it has the nastiest movepool imaginable. Poison Fang, Knock Off, Disable, etc., are all really obnoxious. And the Poison Touch ability compliments it excellently; Poison Fang has an 80% chance of poisoning the opponent, and Knock Off will just randomly reward you just for clicking that button.

Admittedly, Corrosion Glimmora has been one of my personal favorites in this meta, but I've been running a near max HP set with Leftovers, rather than Sash. I find it's bulk definitely serves it more often than not. I've found myself taking advantage of many Amoongus, Kingambits, or even just poisoning opposing Great Tusks, and it's pretty funny when Hatterene switches in, and gets Spun on. Don't get me started on how easy Pex is to handle when IT'S poisoned. It even does it's work vs Sneasler.

I just want to say that Blissey has actually done great work on balance for me as a rock setter! Walls a ton of special attackers as always like Dragapult, CM valiant w no focus blast, Enamorous, Zapdos, NP Ghould, and more! I've had a fun time making a defensive core around Dozo and Blissey, especially since knock off is a lot more rare

Some new pokemon nobody seems to be talking about. 1.) Uxie. I've been using a physically bulky set with Tera Fairy, Giga Drain, Thunder Wave, Reflect and Moonblast and I gotta say this thing has swepts teams that don't expect it. 2.) H. Goodra. Water Tera + Sap Sipper on a Rest Chesto Berry setup while running Ice Beam has been the end for a lot of people. Nobody expects the Ice Beam. Run Chilling Water and predict physical switch ins and you're pretty golden if you don't want to use the Restoberry gimmick. 3.) H-Zoroark has Sludge Bomb. Lead with this and H-Samurott or Great Tusk in the back and one-shot Enamorus at the start of the game with specs. Seriously people are always going to be bad at reading this. Until you run into those people that get every crazy prediction on it and you are sad. Returning pokemon though is Slither Wing. Tera Electric bulky Slither Wing is seriously scary and genuinely counters a lot of the current offensive meta. I've swept a lot of teams with my specialized set (and no I'm not sharing!)

Its also really nice to see mons with no recovery do well just bcuz stall is basically non existent in the tier. Gen 8 and below always emphasized reliable recovery as well as toxic immunity, but now with the fast pace offense a lot of mons just dont need recovery options. They simply take a few hits and when enough chip is done they can just go
