Electric guitars, bikes, roller skates, Mega Evolution… they all bring back such nostalgia for me. I’ll be a Gen 6 stan until I die, and no one can stop me from being one

@@dee7352 This particular version of the theme is actually existed since Gen 5. Obviously, this one is remixed with gen 6 instruments. It doesn't play Anywhere in game and only plays during the world championships final.

It is an unsed music It is in the game but don't ever get to be use because, we were suppose to battle blue. However it got scrapoed and has been in the file of the game

6:08 God, remember when Pokémon Generations did an episode about X and Y's Looker sidequest and absolutely nobody had a fucking clue what was going on because nobody bothered to stick around X and Y after the credits rolled? The Looker sidequest was X and Y's equivalent of the Delta Episode and yet Zinna got a sick battle theme but Emma didn't. We were robbed (Emma/Essentia has been on my brain for 11 years now, super underappreciated.)

Are you perhaps talking about the 3D pokemon models that they planned to reuse in the later games, which infers that 6th gen was meant as nothing but a stepping stone between 5th & 7th generations, meaning we can't judge kalos as a proper game? Because I would greatly disagree with that thought.

@@chaddangersexhaver98 Yep, though I’d recommend a mega stone from a steroid or ampharos, rather than an artificial one from a Mewtwo, which probably causes huge amounts of cancer, unlike the earlier ones, which cause slightly less cancer.

The transition from the Champion's Theme to the Kalos Legendary Theme was absolutely flawless

I unironically love the Gen 6 games everyone can hate me for that but they are great.

Gen 6's design choices were so good that players were salty there wasn't MORE game. The region was objectively one of the coolest and it has everyone upset over wasted potential.

I think we can all agree gen 6 has the best bike theme in all of pokémon... And that's saying a LOT.

Imagine these remixed how PLA did for Sinnoh soundtrack! Going through the game and trying to spot which is which is gonna be so cool! Also my favorite is the Sycamore theme aldo Dendrmille town's theme had no right to be this good of a theme for a town in the middle of nowhere

Gen 6 was when I got completely involved in competitive and tourneys, I'll always love and remember those days grinding, getting perfect Pokemon and being happy. This soundtrack is just nostalgic :') I played Y for almost 2,000 hours.

Gen 6 is like my favorite gen right behind Gen 5 and 4 I'm glad it's finally getting the love it deserves

something that the pokemon series has never failed to deliver is making good soundtrack

Gen 6 were the first pokemon games I ever played when I got my first Nintendo 3ds. I will always treasure the memories of playing them first time and I can’t wait to experience these same emotions again when legends za comes out

Hearing the lumiose city theme again literally enhanced the energy of my very soul

The story may be lackluster, but GODDAMN the region, the pokemon and the music all slap, so its gonna be so cool to finally get pokemon Z as a legends game. Legends Arceus is my fav pokemon game, so I'm so excited!!!

Hearing bike themes the 1st time: "Not bad for a bike jam!" After hatching 1,000+ eggs: "Time for Game Freak to make a new game."

After this video I realise that XY really did have some good music, just that all the battles ended so quickly we never hear anything past 30 seconds

When Gen 6 came out, it was my first experience of 3D in Pokemon. Mega evolution was also a great battling mechainic. Its probably my 2nd favorite Gen next to Gen 7.

Gen 6 was the last game that felt pokemon. To me its UI and pokegear and winder trade etc were the peak. Alpha sapphire omega ruby were the actual peak. Everything afterwards is pretty cringe.

The gen 6 soundtrack really grew on me overtime, I can't wait to hear the remixes in Legends ZA.

Don't forget that you can hear the memories song from black and white in a house in the city with the grass type gym.

I had to purposely stall rounds with my Mega Charizard Y while battling Diantha so I could listen to her theme longer before I swept her entire team. Lmao her Mega Gardevoir got absolutely obliterated by my M Charizard Y Flare Blitz that crit plus the Drought Stab. And I’m so glad you included the VGC 2014 theme!

Gens 4 through 7 will always have a special place in my heart, especially gen 6 since it's smack dab in the middle! Gens 4 and 5 was the beginning of my Pokémon journey. Gen 6 was the peak of my Pokémon journey. Gen 7 started the decline of my Pokémon career. And then gen 8 started my retirement days. Thanks for the memories Pokémon Platinum, White, White 2, Y, Alpha Sapphire, Moon, and Ultra Sun (2009-2020).

Yeah, Battle! Xerneas/Yveltal/Zygarde and Battle! Lysandre are tied for my favorite themes in the whole series. Sword and Shield have some real bangers that get close, and obviously Cynthia's theme is up there too, but Lysandre and the Kalos Legends just hit DIFFERENT. Also, XY has the best Victory Road theme in the franchise. Go ahead and try to @ me, you know you're wrong.

Gen 6 was my first game and it was on my first console, the scenery was beautiful, the soundtrack memorable, the pokemon that were added are my favorites, i made many friends playing it, it was my introduction to online play, has my favorite starter trio, and it has my favorite starter and pokemon line, that being the Chespin line (love those silly guys sm). Of course I'd never forget it

Pokemon Y was my introduction to the series so it has THE Pokemon ost to me.

7:55 It's funny to me how Blue's battle theme outside of Gen 1 (Let's Go is a spinoff of Pokemon Go and SwSh, regardless of what TPC and Bulbapedia say otherwise and even if it came before SwSh because SwSh began development a year before Let's Go. All remakes are spinoffs regardless of what Bulbapedia and or TPC says otherwise (also Legends Arceus is not main series)) is the Kanto champion theme even after he got dethroned. I know it's only because Gen 1 didn't have a rival battle theme, only a rival encounter theme but still.
