These guides are incredibly helpful! I picked up my SZ5 two days ago and will definitely be doing the front and rear speaker upgrades

I put some Rockford Fosgate speakers in the front of my old gen3 and I can honestly say the sound was better than in my other car with its 11-speaker Bose system (Bose being massively overrated!).

Since you are opening the door panels add some insulation for better sound and thermal protection.

What is the white cable that comes with the speakers for?

It connects the speakers in cars that do not have the wiring already in place

Yes, a sound test on KZread tests my microphone, youtube sound compression and your PC speakers.
