Omega is loyal to Team Dark because he fights besides them. Gemerl fights for Cream because he is loyal to her. The difference is slight, yet meaningful.

it's more he's loyal to team dark since they want the same goals as him and don't get in his way.

Dang, Omega called Gmeral old in the most elaborated way possible.

I didn't remember this confrontation but the interaction between these 2 is too good I hope Omega and Gmerl have more time in the comic panels

It wasn't in the main issues. It was in an annual comic, this one being focused on character dynamics we did not see (i.e. Blaze and Knuckles, Gemerl and Omega, Tangle and Rouge). The events there are treated as canon to the comics, since it was here that explained why Silver was back and Blaze was visiting from her homeworld for a longer term than her initial entrance

Both Omega and Gmerl need more screen time in the games

We need a sonic battle 2 thats about gemerl trying to regain his fighting spirit (maybe a prequel to an event like the zombot attack?)

Never read them myself, but the general consensus I've seen is that the comics are the best non-game piece of Sonic media 😊

Using spark TEJ music for this fits so well... Especially with the lyrics kind of fitting! I loved this

It’s cool to see Eggman’s old and new technology go against each other.

Omega is starting to sound more like HK-47 (again).

I freaking love Gemerl.

I wish these two had their own spin off game.
