You are simply the best teacher for art. I wish all the others would watch your videos to learn how to teach with the PERFECT amount of informational commentary, AND teach by repetition and advancing techniques. Thank you thank you for your work, your art, and your spirit which comes through.❤
Okay, you have now inspired me to take a shower, put on clean clothes, and go buy some Play-Doh, because I got a flood of ideas while watching this. 🤣 Thank you so much!
Did you know that the most likely reason Play-Doh is so great at picking up the paint but not transferring it to other surfaces is because it was originally developed as a tool to clean coal dust and soot from wallpaper. Turns out it was also pretty great at clearing up sadfaces 😁 Thanks for the video!

This is definitely my favorite Gel Printing video ever! I LOVE what happens after we read the instructions and try things the “right” way…and then we say….NOW what?! And what comes next is where the creativity really comes in to play. I LOVE that you combined gel plate with play doh…loved the baskets and then SO many other amazing things. I can just see you trying one thing after the other and looking around for what to try next! Great job. First time watching your channel. ❤️

I like everything about your video. You are very creative. Your music 🎵 is not annoyingly in our face (thank you). You shared all the info necessary to teach us the techniques and gave a wonderful set of examples without a lot of unnecessary running commentary. 😊 That allowed us to take in the details of your demonstration. The pace of your video was perfect. Great job! This video was well-thought-out and executed. 😮

Absolutely loved the print made off of the white candle holder, the circle dyes, and the "BRAVE" print. So lovely and GREAT technique!!!
What a helpful video! You’ve multiplied my gelli plate options immensely! I love being better able to use all the variety of tools at my disposal…. And I love that using play dough w/ rubber stamps automatically reverses text so it’s readable again on a mono print! So many inspirations! Thank you!❤❤❤

Oh thank you so much!! I just moved from Vancouver, WA last year. I miss it!
I will definitely be trying this!! Give an adult a reason to play with play dough, who would want to do that?
I saw this video a few months ago and just remembered it again today. I have an open ended art lesson to deliver for next week, and my intended materials won't arrive in time; so knowing that I have gelli prints and a nearby shop that sells play doh, decided I would use this for my class instead. Thanks! I will adapt it a little to form a cut up and collaged landscapes.
Ingenuity u have for certain! You could use the paint on the play dough to add a print to a background paper of color.
Watched the whole video straight through and was miffed when I was interrupted. Not what I usually do! I love this! And it was all I could do to NOT drive to the store immediately and get some play doh! Tomorrow.. tomorrow...
Brava! Beautiful papers; your idea is pure genius! To look at something and see other possibilities is the very essence of creativity. Thank you!!

So exciting! My gelli plates are in the mail! I've been watching tutorials for months, mostly intimidated, having questions & no one to ask! But You!From simple noting paper type, to more complex, tips & explaining techniques AND, keeping the budget real. Seeing side by side helped me understand the timing of layers, how you choose the color of layers. I've been a collage maker for decades & yet have only just recently discovered the gelli plates! Oh my. Obviously a newbie here & grateful for your instruction. Keep on! Yes! Best wishes to you & yours in the New Year.
Gorgeous! I particularly love the embossing folders results. Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing.

This is AWESOME! I got some preschooler play-do kit for about 15$, it came with some tools, cookie cutter and such. This is so much fun, I tried with stamps, random objects around my home and some texture rollers I make out of pool noodles and foam die cuts. This opens infinite possibilities , thanks for sharing that technique!
