3 stars. please read why I am giving this movie 3 stars. 1 star for the cinematography 1 star for the casting/directing 1 star for the male lead (Geez) Let me start off by saying, the movie started very amusing. I love how Geez courted Ann. I love how as days past by, both of them developed their love for each other. BUT I think, Geez loves Ann more than Ann loves Geez. If you think realistically, Ann always put the blame to Geez. She never tried to understand Geez' situation. Ann didn't even bother to ask what is the REAL problem of Geez with his mom. She never tried to COMFORT Geez when he was in Berlin. All she did was to think about her freaking birthday or her special occasions in life and she kept CONTROLLING Geez (which is very unhealthy/toxic for her). In short, Ann is a self-centered girl who just thinks about her own happiness. Meanwhile, My man, Geez, I am proud of him. Despite having misunderstanding with his mom, he tried his utmost best to kept and fulfill his promise for his mother. Despite getting into troubles, he still respect his mom and that's what a value of a MAN that Ann didn't see. Geez left Jakarta to study and to build a good future. Despite being distant with Ann, he always try to send gifts knowing they have time gap. One thing I can assure. Geez didn't leave Ann. He left physically but emotionally, she was always there for Ann :(( GEEZ. HE IS THE MAN.

Looks so cute, I want to see it ! So funny to see the German flag in the room, like "how do we make it obvious that he is in Germany/Berlin ?" -"let's put a flag up" Normally a good idea eg. To show someone being in the US or France etc. But in Germany so uncommon to see someone especially his age just randomly having a German flag in his room 😁

@@theresedelacruz2008 Same, "Geez & Ann" and and in general this film tells the story of the author's (female character) first love in the real life (although there are some parts that are only made for the benefit of the film and do not match reality). It ends sadly because in the real life they end up separating.

came across this movie again after an year, and i really don't have the words to explain what i felt as i watched the trailer, the nostalgia, the warmth, the embracement i got from just one trailer all the emotions just came rushing back. i want to cry at how beautiful and wholesome the movie was but i will not bc my kfc is here

Wahhhh, its so handsome, i though not Indonesian Movie, i though this is from thailand or Philippine, but my eyes seeing the uniform, grey and white its so memorable with me, when in high scholl, wow this movie will be very fantastic, for all young generation Nowdays, hope will see fulll movie on Netflix, bring back my memory on 2002 to 2005, congratulations for this movie, comingsoon... Seseorang yg membuat cerita ini sangat menakjubkan!! Kak tsana! You're such an amazing author! Dari segi ceritanya tidak membosankan, yg kebanyakan film sekarang bercerita tentang Badboy. If any of you like the movie, even just a tiny bit, or you're kinda disappointed just like I am 🙂. Maybe you want to watch "What's Up with Love?" It's an old movie(2002) and it's on Netflix too. Storywise, they are pretty similar. If you feel that this one is close to reality. Then the movie I mentioned is even more realistic. Geez is a musician, but the guy in "what's up with love?" is a poet. The girl got less friends than Ann's, but they have the same vibes. You need to watch the sequel if you want a happy ending. They split up but then got back together, fortunately :)) Watching Geez and Ann reminds me of that movie. I did re-wacth it and then come back here to suggest you one of my favorites Indonesian movie ☺️
