Ive been driving one in Vanuatu for the past 5 months - with the external charging port and automatic tonneau cover. Amazing truck, amazing driving experience . The 4wd model coming will be even better.

A two wheel drive vehicle in your kind of snow ? 😳 The snowfall you get up there is gotta be worse than what we get in New York.

North American anti-competition protectionist sentiments bother me. My dad bought one of the first little Datsun trucks to come to Canada back on the 70s, and we drove that vehicle for years and raved about its efficiency and functionality. I personally love small trucks - functional efficient and fun.

Most small businesses cannot afford luxury electric pickup trucks like Rivian or Cybertruck, so it's great to see that there is finally an affordable electric pickup truck available to fill this gap.

Repeal the chicken tax!!!!!!

I saw a picture of the new LDV a few months ago and was blown away with the looks, the stance, and the fact is will be a proper 4wd ute, I will replace my Wildtrak with when it eventually comes to NZ. The current mediocre LDV ute has had a massive reduction in price, ( to clear current stocks they say) now cheaper than some ice utes, but, it was not really a viable Ford or Toyota (or any) alternative. BYD are also bringing in an ev ute soon, let the games begin. By the way I also have an MG ev and every time I get back in the Ford I realize we just have to go ev, everything just works so much quieter and smoother.

Shame about the timing. This would have gone off at the Electrify Everything show. Glad they're coming

If these numbers are true then it is a no brainer. The big question is when are they coming to Australia ? Company say things but will they deliver on time ?

FYI - Shell California will be closing all of it's hydrogen stations. This could make a good video.

But all I want is a 2-door tray top. One with a 2.5M tray, in that way, the forklift can load sheets of plywood and similar...

I agree. A proper pickup/utility. But I guess that half a utility is better than none at all.

Already available in Costa Rica. It will take some time for it to eat up demand for Toyota pick-ups. Slowly but surely.

This is a great option esp. the long range! Probably the best brand group from China…

Fantastic truck! Lots to like about this pickup but the main thing for me is the price and the fact it isn't a monster. It has a "normal" sized car appeal but still loads of space and really practical. I was waiting for the Tesla juniper to come out later this year but do you know what, I think I'm going to get this pickup instead if it arrives in Europe soon.

Reminds me of the ford maverick, looks good.

I am in the USA so we wont see it.. but yes that would be a mini truck that would be very useful. with me i could probably go with single motor since my use would be city and paved county roads and we rarely get ice or snow were i am. Honestly i think every EV manufacture should buy every other companies EV's to pull apart just to see the good, bad and ugly. I am sure most companies want a cyber truck to pull apart. There is so much you can learn from reverse engineering and sometimes you are surprised by something that is 99.5%+ bad but has this one thing they could use or copy the style of. I am sure Tesla of China probably bought one and pulled it apart and sent results to main branch Tesla.

We have Geely dealerships in the Philippines selling ICE, Id buy this Radar Pickup if it cost the same as a Toyota HiLux Pickup, and charge it with Solar panels as those panels have become very affordable here in the Philippines.

I am in the United States, and would like to buy something like this. However, I doubt that I will ever have the chance. People here want huge vehicles.

For me I’d like to see a smaller practical tray Ute like the Toyota workmate.

I'm looking forward to BEV Utes. My extendended family already own BEVs and I would love to charge from this vehicle during family outings but without an earth I don't think this will be possible. In Aus, all granny chargers do an 'Earth Check' and will shut off if none is present. I've tried charging this way using the VtoL on EV's with the same result. Unnapproved granny's or modified one's might work. Has anyone else tried this?

Great initiative but a unibody. Body on frame or hybrid chassis/unibody required to allow trays or service bodies

Most Americans can't possibly afford a $50K USD truck. Which sadly doesn't stop them from BUYING one, and rapacious US banks from FINANCING them (until there is a general bankruptcy boom). According to CarEdge the cost to Finance the CHEAPEST NEW F-150 in Colorado WITH $10,000 down (or net trade) is $812 monthly - and that is with a credit score that MOST people don't have. According to US bureau of statistics, the HIGHEST annual salary was MA at just shy of $80K Using the 10% rule ONLY for the payment, *the average person in the wealthiest state CAN'T AFFORD THE PAYMENT.* And then they have to fuel, insure and maintain that overly expensive truck, again NONE of which the AVERAGE American can afford (but many try). That sucking sound ... it's yet another BIG company sucking all the money out of your pockets and the will to live out of your soul. If it's not Big Healthcare, Big Schooling (tuition debt) or Big Pharma, it's Big Auto making sure you don't get ahead.

​​​@@TheAefril "token" lol Then you want a gas or Diesel powered pickup truck. One of the things negative about the *CT* from the early receivers of this vehicle, is the drastic drop in Range when towing. The RiVian is a better EV truck for towing. The Ford Lightning sucks at towing also.

We need chinese utes to bring down the price gouging utes by ford toyota etc.

Now light haul trucks are electric and next will be electric heavy haul trucks and then the era of diesel vehicles will be over !

Dont send them to Laos but straight to Thailand. Volvo dealers will sell them like hamburgers sell in America. Time JPN makes get a lesson to speed up their EV plans. GO GO GO
