The Emgrand is Geely's entry to the subcompact car segment. It competes with other models like the Toyota Vios, Honda City, and Nissan Almera.
Subcompact sedans used to be boring machines that were merely meant to get you from point A to point B. We have seen a drastic improvement in terms of features and performance with recent offerings, but Geely is known to raise the bar for each segment they compete in. Let's see if they can do it again with the top-of-the-line Emgrand.

If I have the money to buy this car right now, this will be the best choice for the price and what it's bring to the table. Excellent review of this pretty looking Chinese Volvo ;) The only 2 real nitpicks: Drive modes on touchscreen = perhaps a little irresponsible to change while driving, so it's probably best to only change modes when you stand still. The other nitpick is the weight = going to slurp more fuel (very important these days).

@@imlookingformyhome6025 first time owner here I don't have comparison to judge on speed NVH. for me its fine. 1y and 4months stop na ako sa test the machine. Dami akong feats na sinubok and im satisfied with the car. 😂

its suite the countries capability. (financial, road and system) ... we owners wish geely preface but we understand that we still 3rd world country. this emgrand is more than enough to battle any brand from western. be reminded that this one is cost effective rather than buying double the price. Masses are thriving for Luxuxry too.
