I’ve never once in the 20 years I’ve been out of school, ever had an employer give two poops about whether I had a high school diploma vs a ged. It’s literally not an issue

No one asks or cares if a PhD started out with a GED. It only matters if a person stops their education at that GED level. Additionally, you can have a successful military career or entrepreneurship with just A GED. So it is what you make it. Most of the children that start college and graduate early have taken the GED route. Some homeschool parents see the value in a GED instead of taking children through a bunch of fluff glasses that are not going to benefit them later in life.

I chose GED for my children in Kenya but after doing my due diligence. So many people have succeeded through GED. This video is based on her own analysis which l can call an opinion!! PERIOD!

What if your child has a 30 on the ACT? The school system is atrocious. Why not take the test and start your life?

I understand what she is saying, but my homeschooler had to take the GED because her graduation year happened at a time that they were not allowing schools or homeschools to get the nationwide tests. We opted for a GED test to sub her 12th grade/ graduation test. She passed first try with flying colors got a 500-dollar scholarship from the tech college. enrolled into the university, graduated top of her class with her AA, with a 4.0 GPA. Went back in for her BS and is still at a 4.0 GPA. She is in the honors society at her school, on the Dean's list, ranks number 1 in her department, and has received several scholarships during her time there. I tell them that they can put their homeschool as the high school they graduated from on job applications and resumes, because that is perfectly true, but using the GED test to make sure your homeschooler is equip is nothing to be ashamed of, especially in special circumstances, like we had.

Wasn’t really comfortable at my new school coz I’ve been having bad grades so I had to drop out, but I needed a job so bad with needed a high school diploma but luckily for me I came accross veliscyberclinc on some comments here on KZread and he got me a verified high school diploma!!
