Gebbie Stars In Grandfinal

Papua New Guinea international, Edene Gebbie scored a double to help Townsville to a 32-6 win over the visiting Gold Coast to claim this year’s four X League Championship at Neil Stewart Oval on Saturday.
His second-half tries helped Townsville, co-coached by Maroons legend Matt Bowen, become the first north team to win the championship, after Brisbane claimed the inaugural title last year for the south-east.

    Gabbie should've stayed patient at Rabbits. Justin Olam too was pulled back after his debut but stayed patient and now he is an NRL/PNG Kumuls icon. The issue is discipline. I hope for his sake he can build discipline and I would love to see him take David Mead's place at Fullback.

    His manager is problem, not him. His manager tried to find an opportunity else were in hopes to get a big contract early and that cleary backfired.

    Wow yeah mate a you can't let it go but a age is catching up against NRL debut. The only chances of being contracted was with Rabbittors.I don't think he suits to NRL Get back to SP PNG HUNTERS before retire...

    Form Drop. Playing in the Tier 3 comp and less game time in Hotplus Cup. He has no chance of making it into Kumuls. Stop this nonsense. Pride comes with curse. Never trained and behaved when he was called to maintain fitness with Lae Snax Tigers in 2020 after failing to make it to South Sydney.
