The original Gears is the only real Gears. I hope E-Day is NOTHING like Gears 2.

I don't understand, why you guys prefer this over Gears 2, is it the mechanics on what feels better in this one?

@@tahitiplanderlinde8640 Yes, the mechanics in Gears 1 are better. Gears 2 reduced the rate of fire, amount of ammo, sound of weapons, speed of animations and movements. Gears of War 2 messed up the mechanics so bad that the gnasher was basically a sniper shotgun. In Gears 1, the gnasher had a wide spray that relied on the player actually leading their shots, whereas Gears 2 added hitscan that catered to noobs allowing them to hit their enemies by firing in their general direction and the spray would have to hit the enemy like autodetect. Gears 2 was also the laggiest game.

It should be a mix of Gears 1 gameplay, movement and feel, with the graphics and horror element of Calisto Protocol
