Thanks so much for the invaluable videos! Just happened to notice that the thrust washer at 6:55 of video was wearing spacing collar due to the fact that the thrust washer should sit behind spacing collar and rides on mainshaft shoulder. They need to reverse positions.

Thrust washer 2520-41 in the clutch hub is in the wrong postion. It should be against the seal retainer washer 2520-41A. Then the 40 rollers go in

I checked with Ash and you are quite right. He's taken it out and re-fitted it correctly. He said it just goes to prove how easy it is to get something wrong and thanks you for leting him know.

Hello Ash, I'm working on my Harley WL Tranny and I got a repo kicker gear from samwel and the lobes don't want to clear the tripper bolts. Is there any advice on grinding the lobes to make it work or do I locktite the tripper bolts out farther to get the kicker gear to spin freely?

Common practice for standard transmission found jumping out of high gear, was a bungie cord attached to the under edge lip of the the seat & the other end over the 3 on the tree shifter knob to keep it from popping out of gear. Hell, come to think about it the same thing has been going on with the transmission of our voting system over here. Tis the season to eradicate them banana republic bungie cord parts of treason for it as well.
