Victim of early reveals. Like, Crocodile. Who was technically the first canon Awakened user, which some would debate to this day. Moriah was close to being able to actually challenge a Yonko. Oda said he intended this way cause drawing torn clothes all the time would be a hassle and that would censor the show a lot.

Still one of my favorite punches in One Piece, the absolute weight Luffy throws behind this punch is wild. Even with the “older” animation in Dressrosa you can just feel that impact. Doffy sure did 😂

I love how Doggy was already pretty beaten up by all that happened and he was still far from defeated, cause his life was on the line and that was actually when e everything started to be more serious, the villains were always at top and never in a death or life situation before

It’s refreshing to see a villain get dominated by a new form only to themselves get a main character “I won’t just die!” Moment and keep pushing when they shouldn’t. People complain about doffy surviving gamma knife but are fine with luffy tanking 3 rokuogan to his internal organs and still being able to beat up the guy who was dominating the fight

Bruh, did you see his string attacks? He severed Law's arm, almost decapitated Kyros if Luffy didn't save him, cut in half a lot of buildings, could manipulate an ALMOST ENTIRE village without needing to be there and also did piercing. Dude's power is brutal.

Know this, if you’re in one peice and Luffy bites his Haki arm while looking at u angrily just accept your fate and know you’re dead😊

Man that first punch with Kong Gun hits so different. Up until this point Luffy's damage on Doffy had been done either by luck or by trickery. This was the first time he made him be like "oh fuck we in a real fight here" and it was so fantastic because it quickly escalates from "we in a real fight" to "I'm getting my ass beat"

"This crackhead has punched you harder than you have ever been punched in your life."

It's crazy the fact that like a month later Luffy defeated a Yonkou and became one himself

Just got done finishing this, I accidentally got spoiled online and been waiting on this transformation since the time skip unfortunately, BUT boy it was worth the wait, this scene got me so hyped, what I loved about this transformation is the satisfying bouncing and just the overall look was a 10/10 for me, and to top it off doff thought it was a joke, but I instantly knew luffy was about to send this man flying lmaooo, I absolutely love it.

@@joycastello6918 No the shiny black effect is only for the viewer. Haki armament doesn't actually make any visual difference. If you remember in pre-timeskip when people used Haki there was no effect. Post time-skip Oda wanted to make it clearer when Haki was and wasn't being used, that's all. So yeah, Mingo doesn't see the cool black marks. The literally just looks like a rubber ball to him.

This is one of Luffy’s best fights. Doflamingo judge the book by its cover and paid the price. First fighting a skinny wacky kid then a wild bouncy chubby kid that’s unstoppable One Piece is great.

Luffy turned into Garp 😂

I got into one piece cuz i played jump force. I saw luffy's gear 4 and was like. "Wait, this is one piece??" So i looked this part up and found out its like 700 eps in and that same night i start watching the anime. Totally worth it, i love this show so much. Ive been caught up and the new eps look amazing

Doffy is a fool to have underestimated gear 4 No villain after did Doffy should no better how devil fruits depend on the user Strings on their own are useless but he trained it to be powerful We saw Oroch with a mythical zoan but in his hands, it was weak due to not training it If a strong and dedicated person had it, it would’ve been the most powerful shown Cracker, Katakuri and Luffy are examples of people with “weak” devil fruits making them super powerful

Doffy’s problem was he underestimated just how much Law & Luffy had been training over the 2yr timeskip. While Doffy was busy being king and running the underworld, Luffy & Law had pretty much perfected their skills. Pre timeskip Doflamingo would’ve washed Luffy low diff. Doffy also relied on his “Black Knight” and a manipulated Bellamy to do most of the work, but when Luffy finally got a chance to 1v1 him the differences in strength were obvious. Doffy will always be my favorite OP villain tho

Gear 5 luffy when he enlarged his body and muscles and said "muscle muscle!" is more or less pretty much gear 4 but without those haki markings.

The bird cage does not depend on the clouds. Moreover doffy flying in the air wasn't really a problem for luffy as his gear4 bounceman allows him to fly as well

If I were Doflamingo, how I would defeat luffy gear 4 is to create a powerful, giant spear made of awakened strings coated with haki and keep him at bay from long range. One advantage doflamingo has over luffy is extreme range (his overheat for example) and u would use this giant spear made of extremely hard busho, to pierce and annihilate luffy.

Except Doflamingo attempted just that but in his god thread move. He had Luffy at bay far in the sky and with his 16 holy bullets AND his birdcage to pierce Luffy from both ends. Doflamingo wasn't shocked in the moment that Luffy's Kong Gun actually reached him, he was shocked that an awakened string man was defeated by a non awakened (on Gear 4) rubber man.

Easy for you to say, Luffy even in his base state is faster than doflamingo, Luffy have speed advantages, with gear 4, he's even more faster than doflamingo as you can see he's having really hard time to dodge or block luffy's attack when he's in gear 4
