This LiTime battery monitor is pretty heavy duty. The nice thing is that you need to calibrate it to determine the low point of your battery. That is much better than just a voltage monitor. Living full time in your van will require accurate battery and power estimates.

    If anyone wants to get away from stiff wires , purchase welding lead cable ; it is very flexible and usually costs less per foot than service wire .

    Do you happen to know if you turn off your main disconnect, will you lose all settings input? My Li Time battery manual states: for longer lasting battery store at 50% and recharge every 3 months.

    Sorry, I never disconnected it, but I am sure it will not lose it's settings. It would be odd for a battery meter to need resetting after the battery is drained.

    Haha. Basically it will allow you to measure the current too. Not just voltage.

    Is there a way to turn the display off? So its not drawing power for no reason when the system is off

    No. There is no back light so the display consumes very little power.

    You need to re-read the directions, Setting Full V: is the resting voltage of the fully charged battery as recorded before connection. You set yours to 14.4 volts which is way to high. You need to do that part over and start over.

    You are correct. I indeed reset it to 13.4. Thanks!

    Wait what’s this resting volts and stuff ? You can’t just hook it up and use it ? Why do you have to set the volts to a certain number ? What is that for ?

    How do you discharge it?

    I ran the microwave for a few cycles and left a large fan running in the van all night. Actually took me 2 days to discharge. haha

    @TinyCampersDIY ugh I have a 200ah lifepo4 battery running a 2000w inverter. I wonder if I would hurt it if I ran a 1500w space heater to drain it quicker 🤔
